I applied for a study permit extension on Aug 19, 2025 (current one expires Mar 26, 2026).
My co-op work permit expires Mar 2026 but I have a 1-year internship starting Jan 5, 2026.
Can I apply for a co-op work permit extension now while my study-permit extension is in progress?
Or do I need to wait for approval first?
Also: can I start the internship on Jan 5 if the new co-op permit is still in process?
