2014 RQ Applicants

I called CIC and the agent told me that my RQ most probably will be processed in Edmonton. Then she said no officer has been assigned to my case yet.
I'm going to order an ATIP too. My PR card is going to expire this year, and I need to know if I should be getting ready to renew it or not.

Lena, I would start looking into the PR card renewal just in case, it doesn't cost much though, 50$ only.

Hello guys,

I was checking the RQ and "transfer to local office" dates on the spreadsheet and realized that RQ is issued prior to sending the documents to the local office, is this right? Dont they usually issue request RQ after interviewing in the local office?

RQs can be issued in following scenarios:

1. While application is at CPC sydney (sent by cpc sydney)
2. After file is transferred to local office (sent by local office)
3. during or after interview (sent by local office)

It depends upon application to application so its upon CIC when they send RQ.

Why would you write "oath - impossible"? Have you ordered ATIP to see where is your file? Where is your local office?
Why did you have a RQ, your opinion? What did officer told you on a test day? Good luck to all of us!!

Congrats . Maybe after they have cleared out 2014 and 2013 RQ cases they will have time to handle the 2012 RQ unfortunates .

Today got my ATIP..only new Note is "File Directed to CIC-Miss for a test.Foss has been reworked for all family members.Once test is completed file will return to CEN St. Clair for assessment. GLP"

Case Status: ON HOLD-

Not sure what prompted them to send me test letter after 9 months at st clair.Anyway at least some movement .

Any one has idea what does CEN mean ?

CEN is a center to evaluate RQ related to residency. Maybe they are going to send your file to Montreal office (That's where CEN is). My file was transferred there for RQ processing.
