I already called to the RAMQ and they told me that my wife needs the AIP to apply for the RAMQ card. However after applying, she will be covered from the 1st day for her pregnancy and delivery for our new born. Now we have to wait for the AIP and wish they will process it quicker

I guess that this thread is mostly dead, which is a good thing! (Newbies, I'd recommend posting any questions in inland 2013 or 2014.) Just wanted to say that our landing interview will be January 9, 2014.

I'm sure the person who does your landing interview is just an admin person, as long as the information you sent back to them by post is correct and the 2 people sat infront of them look the same as the ID you provided previously, then they issue the PR.

Hi people, getting lonely here, I`m in my 13th month since AIP and still waiting for any signs from CIC, everytime i call them they tell me this is normal, can anyone tell me what can I do in this situation??, Also my work permit is expiring this month and I cannot apply online because keeps telling me that I need a PCC (personal checklist code) or something like that and I dont have that, I need to apply for an open work permit but dont know how, this is getting frustating.

Finally got my letter about my landing Interview. Just have to wait for a montreal CIC Rep Call to Notify me about the appointment date.
Any suggestions here?

Not sure what to say. All of our communication regarding landing was done by mail. After sending back the letter with the photos, it was only another couple of weeks before we received a letter telling us a landing date.

Hi guys! I've a question! I recently got AIP (jan 7th) and inmediately went to get my RAMQ
Everything was smooth and they told me I'll receive it on april (after the 3 months of carence)
anyway, long time ago I read a post of Quebecookie I think, which said she was asked to pay 200$ to get ramq for some reason I didnt understood (neither remember).. I havent been asked to pay anything and I have finished the RAMQ registration process, should I keep wondering about this 200$? has anyone been asked to pay this? thanks a lot!
