No not the IMM 0008 generic form. When you filled forms to sponsor your parents in 2010 everyone had to fill a form called "Application to Sponsor and undertaking" the IMM 1344 A.

On this form (IMM 1344 A) you the sponsor could enter email address. under this it says and I quote from the form "By indicating your e-mail address, you are hereby authorizing Citizenship and Immigration Canada to transmit your file and personal information to this specific e-mail address".

When you get approval as sponsor you receive notification of the decision not your parents (this is stage 1). Once you complete this stage and are approved then CIC starts to contact your parents for medicals and other requirements such as PCC. For medicals they will send email to the email address on the IMM 0008 generic form which you sent back in Sept-Oct 2014.

I hope that makes sense. I think mrs-vkp could confirm this because I think her parents just received email for medicals and she as sponsor had got email for sponsorship approval.

I suppose if you use the same email id then it just goes to the same id.

I had applied after March 2010 so had used this version.

My AOR letter was dated Dec 01,2014 and received on Dec 10, 2014. I will update as soon as i receive approval.

That letter hasn't been posted to you but sent to you by email. Everyone who had given email in their application back in 2010 is getting letter sent by email. As I said it even mentions on that letter you will not get a copy in regular mail.

Because you had wrote an email address in 2010 your letter has been sent to that email id. That email letter was your sponsorship approval letter because most people who sent documents in August like you have received their approval by email.

Phone CIC on 1-888-242-2100. Explain your situation and I'm sure they will help.

I wanted to ask you if you already received your medical request for your parents because you have 2 Feb 2015 written in your timeline for med requests. Did this request come from Ottawa or Delhi.

That MR date in my timeline is mine, since this year , I applied under FSW program and got through!! FSW process is really fast this year , hence we received MR within 7 months and hopefully PPR in next 2 months!

This MR comes from NDVO! And I am hoping MR for my parents also comes with us!!

we are going to call CIC and find out what needs to be done !!

What will be timline in the present case will you please throw light on the sponsorship approval timline on the basis of current situation Rgds

we have talked to agent who told us that IMM1134 was also submitted earlier and do not know reason of submitting nw IMM1134
Since now we have again submitted new IMM3114 yesterda so in that case how much we have to wait for sponsorship approval Whether AOR 16th sep 2014 will not be relevant and this new date of submission of IMM1134 will be taking for waiting or they can still consider our 16th sep 2014 for arriving at the decsion.
Kindly advise shall be grateful

If they stick to your 16 Sept date then hopefully any day now you should get approval. No one can say for sure how CIC works so there is a lot of unpredictability when we try to guess timelines for each stage.

Anybody knows for how many months we should wait after AOR to talk to MP for a decision for Sponsorship approval.
Any other way to appeal would be appreciated. I have called CIC a few times and everytime they give me a different time frame.

If in case we receive medical before that, should we do medical here in Canada or is it ok to do it in India? If she do her medical in India, Where would they ask to submit passport? India or Canada? And how long usually they take to issue passport back with stamping. Please reply.

Welcome to the forum. Your mother can do her medical in India. If Ottawa request her passport then you will need to send it there however I think if she is in India then she may be asked to forward it to Delhi. visa is issued in a few weeks these days.
