hi every one
i have applied in a family sponsorship programe for my mother who lives in los angeles CA. in april 2010
i already send the last document medicals request and police certificate and CSQ in novembre, she will live in quebec
i would like to know if some body knows how long thats it takes after that for recive the visa. i think i send all the papers and all is ok, i call for
information and they told me the documents are in otawa im stressed i wait 5 years for that if some body have a experience about that please
say something. is possible i close my file if i dont recive nothing this winter somebody say it can take 4 years more

I am mostly active in the federal skilled section of this forum. This is my first post in the FCS section. i would really appreciate if any senior member can help me out.
My sister applied for my mother's sponsorship.
Application mailed: Dec 2010
Additional documents requested: July 2014
Additional document mailed: Sept 2014.
Now my questions are as follows-
a. what are the next steps? Will we get any AOR mail? if yes, then whose email address? my mother's or for my sister's?
b. For Bangladesh the VO is singapore. Will my mother's application process in singapore or in Ottawa?
c. If the file process in singapore? How long generally it will take to issue a visa? the website says 41 months for step 1 and for step 2 singapore- 66 months? Should i calculate 66 months after sept 2014?
My mother is old aged and lives with me. If my FSW processed before her, she will be really in problem.

i have been waiting for my sponsorship approval or transfer of file to New Delhi or AOR . My case is my brother filed for family class sponsorship for me and our parents in 2010 . The documents was requested in August 2014 and we sent the said/required applications on sep 3 2014 .The documents were deliverd and were recieved by cpc Missisauga . Now it has been more than 10 weeks since we filed the case . Does anybody know what is status of the other files or why is there so much delay .?
