Visa arrived today! I'm so happy! Yes Filipino ako. We sent an email to our VO bout medical result have been received and after a week ecas changed but d cla ngreply s email. Visa issued July 10,2014 pa. Bkt naun lng nila npadala? And db I told u n ng follow up kme s MP last sept. And sbi nila background check pa lang . So tingin ko malapit na din ung sa parents mo. 2 weeks nreceived nmin ung visa after DM. So hopefully mag DM n kau or makuha na visa ng parents mo kht d nguupdate s ecas. Pray lang po. Follow up ka din po sa VO para sure kc ung MP n nkausap mo prang d concerned s application nio. good luck and Godbless

So happy for u, Km21, CONGRATZ!!! But hey, u said Visa issued since July, kailan naman ang expiration ng Visa nyo?

well welcome to this thread. So far nobody who has submitted their documents following the letter dated 30 July 2014 on this thread has mentioned any further update or acknowledgement to their case.
Everyone seems to be waiting for the next update from cic and so far no person has said they have heard back yet.

1. Do we need to self attested the supporting documents i.e. copies before submitting it or not?
2. I need to send cover letter - can anyone please send me the sample format?
3. Please confirm that do I need to attached followings:
- Application forms
- Supporting Documents (Including Option C printouts for year 2009 & 2010)
- Check List
- 90 days letter
- Cover Letter
- Rights of Permanent Residence Fees
- 2 Self address labels

Please let me know if any other things I need to add or take care! Thanks in Advance.

1. no need to "self attest" photocopies. Simple photocopies are fine, where copies are accepted. I think the police clearance had to be the original document.

2. I never bothered with a cover letter.

3. Did you get a request for new photos? If I recall correctly, we also sent new photos at this stage.
