Hi, I have given a TOEFL exam in Aug 2011 and now that I want to apply for immigration I have been told that I have to give IELTS too as TOEFL is not accepted for immigration? Is that true? I wish I had known it before so I could have given IELTS instead.

I am a little confused now. I am applying for a student visa and my kids ( under 8 years ) are accompanying me. Do I need to apply for a study permit for them too? Or just fill out the normal visa applications for them. Or will they get a permit when we reach canada and I am given a study permit?
