Hi all,

Is there anyone on here whose parents medical is already on file from a previous supervisa application done this year?

I had my moms done this year for super visas and its not over a year yet.

Does my mom need to go for medicals again if the results are still valid and on file? I did submit the IME form along with the PGP application.

Just curious to know if anyone else is in the same boat?

Thanks

PCC and background check are not the same, check a great post on this forum on background check then you'll understand better. When did you provide PCC? Before medical?

At the same time as Medical.

I received request for PCC and Medicals at the exact same time.
IRCC received my PCC 4 days after request and Medical results were sent a week later.

Thank you for your response!
I really appreciate.

My application was received in Ottawa on 10 May and my relative's on 16 May. He got request to resubmit a form which he did in July.
My file went to In Process in 8 Aug (and still stuck there). My relative's file went to In Process on 14 Aug and got biometrics yesterday.
This proves there is no FIFO process.
This proves every case is different and nothing else.

Hello, my MiL's passport is expiring on Dec 29, 2021. She's currently on a Supervisa and can stay for 2 years entry of January 29 2019 and will probably apply for extension until application for PR gets approved. My question is, if ever her application gets approved assuming that it's 20-24 months submitted application June 14, 2019, projected completion of application would be June 2021 processing for PGP. Are we better off renewing her passport as soon as we can before she hits PPR? I know that to enter Canada you would at least need 6 months of passport validity and I'm assuming this will be applicable for her soft landing as well.

Thanks
What is your app status now?

Most countries do not renew passport unless the expiry date is less than 6 months. i would recommend renew as soon as you can.

Just saw you are in the overseas LVO, not too sure then but should be soon if all is provided and passed. You also have no means to contact them except for webform. Anyway, good luck.

I would like to ask if any filipino applicants that had issues in getting NBI clearance? If we can’t provide an NBI clearance in a month, how can we advise CIC
Or request for extension?

Hi,
Any kind of eCAS status update once IRCC receive additional document sent to them? Death certificate was received on Aug 9 by IRCC.
