I don't know if you have noticed this. but the website you mention has the following faq"
Holly Molly no I didn't. Thank you for sharing, I'm calling them (still need to speak with a SPF officer for another matter, so problem is half solved).

Well I was hoping to be able to provide anyone with some replies, but after trying to call SPF COC office for an hour, I still didn't manage to get someone on the phone.

Hi Rahul... I also was issued a CoC by SPF but I do have a doubt. I was in Singapore for studies under a student pass.. & stayed there for 15 months... I again went to Singapore after one & a half year in a visitor visa for my convocation for 4 days. I have been issued a CoC only for my duration of student pass. I asked SPF they replied that they will only give CoC for the pass & not for social visits... Will IRCC object to it as they have stated from the last you stayed.
You should explain this in a LOE when you upload your COC.

My application has moved from Pending Fingerprints to In progress on the online status, so that indicates they are fine with my FBI Channeller fingerprints. Will update if they issue my and my wife's COC.

Just a comment to help those with PNP and whom need the Singapore COC. I applied and obtained my Singapore COC before I received my ITA. I used the letter that I received from CIC after I had accepted the PNP nomination. My advise would be very clear with the LoE and why you need it.

not sure if this is still a common practice because in December 2016 based on what I found on this forum, I applied for my COC appeal with the ITA letter but SPF rejected my COC appeal and requested me to provide the official letter from CIC stating that I am required to provide a PCC from Singapore. So I had to wait for CIC to send me this letter to apply again for COC appeal.

but indeed, alzs-, you can always try to apply for your COC appeal with the ITA letter ... maybe SPF would accept it ...
Hello PonJoub, Thanks for all the help here. I have submitted all the documents except the singapore CoC and now awaiting a letter from CIC. I wanted to ask how much time does CIC takes to revert with a letter of request towards SPF?

Depends on your stream. For PNP outlands, it generally happens when medical is passed. For Feb/Mar AOR that was some 3 months. They have speed up for later AORs

Thanks Canada eagle. I have applied under FSW express entry recently and I am currently based in India. I am a little confused with your response as my medical checkups have already been done in India by CIC recognized panel physician in July and the I believe the report has been shared directly with them. I had to upload the report ID and acknowledgement page. Received AOR in July End. Pretty recently. By your understanding and other responses, seems like I should stay put and wait for atleast a few weeks or maybe months.

By medical passed I mean someone from IRCC has looked at the report uploaded by the panel physician and seen that it has no issues. If you check your account your medical status as this point will be "You have passed your medical" or something like that.

I believe FSW-outland which you are is being processed quickly so you should get it quicker then the timelines I mentioned above. BTW as per this and other threads people have got their Singapore COC with ITA letter. You could go through the threads and apply with the ITA letter.

Great. Thanks! I understand now. I'll apply with ITA letter and see if I get lucky here. :)

Hi Folks,

I got the Invite for Canada PR and had to do Singapore CoC as I had been there for 1 year. I didn't wait for CIC to provide authorization Letter and tried my best and received Singapore PCC as well. Below are the steps I followed.

For Me
Did Appeal on Singapore Police Website and provided list of documents (ITA received from CIC, Visa doc, Singapore payslips, rental agreements) , it was approved in 4-5 days and then raised e-COC application from same portal and got it approved in next 2 days. After that Did fingerprinting here in Canada and sent courier to my friend as I mentioned proxy as method of collection. I sent docs thru DHL which reached there in 2-3 days and friend had went to ppolice station personally with my envelopes and collected COC documents.

Same this is done for my wife as well. For
Hello sbwar. Could you share with us how long did it take from submitting the finger prints to the collection of coc?

Thanks for your information. May I know, how long it took to get the PCC.

They sent a email that they issued and mailed. So now have to wait 2-3 weeks for it to arrive. All the best for the rest of you.
How many days did it take for them to process the prints and confirm they have despatched - their website says 5 working days - are they sticking to it? My status shows in Progress since last Monday (Aug 14)

Hitesh - II am also waiting for request letter for wife's PCC from Singapore - my medicals passed on Jul 21 but no request letter or ARD from CIC to date (quite surprised). I had called CIC couple of weeks back asking about this and the person I spoke to on the phone was kind enough to send me the link to a PDF which you can fill yourself and submit as an official request letter if you have not yet received one from CIC - here is the link

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/PC_LetterA_e.pdf

Basically I am the PA and I had earlier appealed to SPF with ITA and marriage certificate but the rejected it saying request letter is not in spouse name - I took a chance with this PDF above and they approved the appeal and now I have submitter her prints. Hope this helps you and others in a similar situation. I wanted to save time rather than waiting for the ADR after which it will easily take a month looking at SPF processing times.
