Update.
Got an email to say they got my documents i uploaded.

I checked my application portal and found the notification below. Does this mean an immigration officer is reviewing the document ?

I need your suggestions, below is the issue I am facing and not sure what step I have to take next. Please help!!

Applied for AIPP PR in June 2020
Received AOR in February 2021
Received ADR (biometrics, employment letter & schedule A) in March 2021 (which will be the last step in approving PR)
Got married in 1st week of April 2021 and informed ircc
Submitted my ADR in 2nd week of April 2021
After 2 days Received a request letter from IRCC Halifax to submit my spouse documents for add-on
In May 2nd week I have submitted my spouse documents including forms, payment, pcc and medical to the same ircc halifax email also got immediate acknowledgement.
After that no response, raised many webforms, calls everytime they mentioned received all my spouse documents will let you know if anything is required.

but all of sudden I have received my eCOPR on 20 August 2021 but my spouse name was never added to my application nor COPR.

In October I have ordered gcms notes and its mentioned "new spouse documents received, recommend pass officer ready " (12 may 2021),status: "open"
Then on may 18 2021 its mentioned " Location: OVS DEP", status: "open"
Then next notes was on August 18 2021 " Location: finalized, status: open
20 August 2021 Location: Registry, status: Retired

Raised multiple webforms, calls and contacted MP but they are not providing proper update. They are asking me to wait till Halifax office responds. Also received a reply last month saying "your file is being looked into by our management team and someone will be in touch with you when it is resolved"

Losing hope day by day not sure when they are going to respond. Can I expect some positive news? I don't understand how can they approve my application as a single even though they received my spouse documents.

Eligibility: review required
Criminality: passed
Medical: passed
Security: Not started


Can you please help with me with the three questions below:

1) How long does the security and information sharing process take after biometrics are completed? Generally speaking.

2) Are the PPR batches done by visa office or visa officer or as a whole?

3) if my application was rejected would I be informed straight away or be left waiting for months? I ask this as my application status has changed (received email) but NO change is present on the portal.

I have contacted immigration lawyer and he is suggesting me to go for mandamus and judicial review.

is that a good decision? What do you suggest

I uploaded documents on 19th July and still waiting for spouse to be added on application. They stopped working as soon as target dor year was completed , so no hopes till end of January to get anything.

Hi,
I am EE-FSW (AOR Jan 2020)
I got married in Dec 2020 ,( my husband was on study permit at that time)and even after several mails and webforms I didn’t get any request mail to upload my spouse’s documents . However in July,2021 I got a mail that documents have been sent to concerned office then again no further request from CIC.
I called CIC helpline back in November and the agent sent me request mail for documents upload so I again uploaded them and sent them over mail as well , in response a confirmation mail was received that all the documents have been received.
Also I got remedical request for myself this month but not for my husband who is currently in Canada. I requested GCMS in which it’s mentioned that spouse documents received and sent to concerned officer.
So what should I do now? Will I be getting separate request for my spouse medical or his medical not required? I am confused here. Please suggest. TIA

Hi! In order to add my spouse, I was asked to submit Imm008 form. I have below 2 issues with regards to it.
1. I am unable to write my name in the consent to release section
2. Unable to sign

I saw some have mentioned to print the form and sign it by hand. But, when I do that and then scan the document again to upload it in the webform, the bar codes cannot be read.

Anyone who has filled imm008 and submitted through a webform, could you please advise me what needs to be done.

U need to type in your name to sign. Dont sign it by hand.

In the consent to release, if u can sign and doesnt give u an error due to barcodes, then should be fine.
Sry i dont recall it for the other forms. But if u are able to type in your name...should be ok.

I CANT SEE MY SPOUSE ADDED TO MY PROFILE TILL THE DATE.

CAN ANYONE SHARE EXPERIENCE? HOW MUCH TIME DID IT TAKE TO SEE SPOUSE IN YOUR ACCOUNT AFTER UPLOADING ALL DOCUMENTS ONLINE?
