Photo was not accepted, got an update to revise it today.

10.45am:
Uploaded another photo.

1.30pm
Just got an email saying "Congratulations! You are now a permanent resident of Canada!" but the PR Portal shows photo still in review.
The email has instructions on printing the eCoPR and getting SIN, Health Card etc.

Not sure if this means my photo was accepted?

Log in to the PR portal and download the pdf of your eCoPR. This is your proof of status. The photo is only used for the PR card and is unrelated to your status.

Hello, i would like to know do we have reply every time we recieve reminder email portal for permanent residence. i got first email on october 30 , then getting reminder email from last 2 days . Please reply

I have already downloaded my eCoPR when I got my confirmation (Oct 22).
Just waiting for the photo to be acccepted.

My point was your eCoPR has nothing to do with your photo getting accepted

For your reference, my photo and address (on portal) showed as "In review with IRCC" until I receive my PR card.
After I received my PR card, the status changed to accepted to IRCC.

Here is my Timeline for eCoPR and PR card

Confirmation Portal Email-Oct 13 (replied the same day)
Portal Login credential email - Oct 14 (updated photo+address the same day)
eCoPR - Oct 15
Linked PR card application to IRCC account - Oct 18
Address approved - Oct 18
PR card dispatched notification - Oct 22
Photo approved - Oct 22
PR card received - Oct 28

I don't know what is my VO, nowhere I could see that information. Somewhere in my eCoPR its written OSC- OPERAT.
IRCC looks like is working at superfast speed.

Mine is as follows:
1. Received email asking for information - 20th May
2. Received log in details for the portal - 20th May
3. Declared my presence in Canada, updated the address and uploaded a picture on the portal - 21st May
4. ECOPR - Still waiting...
5. VO - Etobicoke

I received an email from IRCC stating: "We're still working on your application", anyone else received it?

This is the monthly notification, if this is turned on it come through, interestingly I had the notification, only in the last two month I have received this email. Last month the same mail came for all applicants in my profile.

This happened right after the monthly update to the system, This time only for the principal applicant and only for Express Entry

I submitted a webform to ircc to let them know that i am in Canada. They sent me PPR which isn't helpful in my case to obtain COPR. I sent that PPR letter to my wife so that she can submit her passport to nearest VFS office. However, Below is the reply i got from ircc after i sent them a webform to let them know that i am in Canada. I was expecting a first portal email but this what i got. Any idea? anyone here with similar case? Please help/guide

You may not have heard from us in a little while. This is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.

We send messages to your account if we need something from you. When we do that, we'll also send you an email to this address:

Something has happened today, this is weird. Are you in the same boat? are you waiting for your Portal email and your spouse got ppr?

I got the same email, I think its just an automated email letting you know they are still "working" on it. I already got my eCOPR, just waiting for them to mail my card.
