I called them this week and they explain me that they don’t have any processing times right now because of the pandemic. I personally think that they don’t care at all about our applications.
IRCC is accepting constantly new applications for the federal programmes in bulk. They don’t have the resources or the intention to process our file faster now. What do you think is going to happen with this massive 90 000 new openings which starts in May!?

QSWP agents would be transferred to handle extra load as Quebec government won't protest. IRCC knows it all too well and retards in CAQ government would be more than happy.

is there any way to check and avoid this kind of things from happening?

was it rejected just for the fee or CSQ expired?

Just the fees. The contacted me in February saying the proof of payment was missing. So I sent them back the wrong one.

It was not missing, the amount was just wrong.

They way IRCC handles the payments is a trip back in the past, like the rest of these papier applications. Arrima is so much better now.

I am sure I paid the fees correctly. I think there is no right to permanent residence ($500) fee for dependents under 18years.
if fees are correct, will a application be rejected for missing a signature in application? If yes, how can we avoid or resend it again ?

update: Thanks to archive.org (https://web.archive.org/web/20190901000000*/https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp), I'm managed to figure out what happened. I just paid the "Right of Permanent residence fee", I didn't realize they were something else to pay. Anyway. I don't think this mistake justify to cancel the whole application and with a clear communication from their side I would have fixed that immediately. I started the CSQ in 2018-12. Now I've to redo everything.

Yes, They should have told you to pay any pending amount. This is not fair at all. Even your MP couldnt help ?

I have just received the confirmation letter of permanent residency!!! Finally, after almost 28 months.
I thought there were instructions to do the virtual landing, but it actually just say to send the photos for the PR Card.

I hope people that have been waiting even longer than me, will get some news soon!

I also just got my COPR! I mailed my federal application in December 2019 and got my AOR in February 2021. The estimated completion date was set to March 2022, but they got it done 11 months "early".
