No worries...all the best

Hi Smitham3,

Sorry to bother you but can i have one more question?

For form IMM5532 ( application for PR), Part C ( Question 3 and 4), my spouse and I are currently living together, so we will answer question 3. Do we have to answer question 4 as well? I just feel question 4 is for Outland application. We are doing Inland application, do we need to specify all the dates that we have visited to each other. I have no problem entering all the dates that we have visited each other. I just wanted to make sure I am doing it right.

Question 3/ Are you living together now (Yes/No)
Question 4/ If you are not living together, have you visited each other in the past (Yes/NO),if yes, give details of dates..

Thank you,

Question 3 over rules question 4. As long as u living together then no need to answer question 4.

just make sure u are gathering docs of cohabitation as they tend to ask for that to both married couple and common-law partners.

There are currently 2 methods of sending CoPR.

1. through the old fashion way which is sent through gckey and most local immigration offices are still using this method. With this method, they usually call the PA and ask some basics questions like if they are currently in Canada etc. Sometimes they don’t call, they just send it via gckey then the applicant will need to print it out and send it with a passport photograph to the address provided in the letter

2. ircc sends an email with login credentials which the PA uses to sign into the new CoPR portal. In the portal, PA has to answer some basic questions like if they are currently in Canada etc. In this portal they will find their CoPR document and can also upload passport photos for their PR card.

keep in mind tho that, if only SA is sent and file is sent to local immigration office for further assessment and interview before AIP then that means relationship interview and some applicants have been getting that.

Hi there, Has anyone else sent out their COPR+Photo yet to start the process of receiving their PR card? I'm actually an October 2019 Applicant but I just sent out my COPR and photo a couple of weeks ago and I linked my PR card app online and it just had a ghost update today. Wondering how everyone else is doing
