Hey Ryan , Correct me if I’m wrong but you did also get to know about your positive DM through the call center agents right ? I also got to know that I’ve passed eligibility on the 2nd of December according to the agent and 27th of November according to the GCSM notes lol. I never received any email regarding this.
I got to know that they made a decision via ECAS; however, I have no idea what the decision is (approved or rejected). When I called them they said that I have passed everything and I’m on the right track and I just need to wait for them to “contact me” regarding the decision. When I asked the agent if she can tell me if my application was approved or not, she said she’s not entitled to tell me the decision and I have to wait...

Still waiting since 30 November (the day they made the decision)

You have to pass: criminality, eligibility, medical and security before they can make a decision.

check your application via ECAS and see if the status is “In Progress” or “Decision Made”.

If “In Progress”, you still haven’t passed all the above.

If “Decision Made”, you have passed everything and you just need to wait for them to send you the “Completion/DM letter”

Next is DM letter then “CoPR” or “ePORTAL” invitation (depends on which local office will finalize your application I guess).

For me, I just wanna know what is the decision tbh, the rest is a matter of time and I got really good, patience wise, since I moved to canada lol.

That's more probable but I have many friends got COPR straight up without DM letter

I see. Well hopefully all goes well for you. I did check ECAS still says in process and yes I’m aware that I need to pass everything for them to give me a positive decision. Hoping for the best. Might give them a call sometime soon and then just wait and be patient

if you didn't receive the DM letter before your status has changed to DM ,probably you won’t receive it.

and your decision is for sure positive because if it was a negative you will receive a refusal letter.

we have a very similar timeline. I am May 10th and they asked me to redo the schedule 12 form and to be submitted by Jan 21st, still waiting to hear, is that what they asked for in the correspondence? and did you send it using the inquiry form? did you get an email stating that they received the requested documents?

No, the approval letter just said "We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The IRCC office in ETOBICOKE will contact you regarding the finalization of your permanent resident application." They didn't ask me for any additional forms. but if you are referring to the correspondence on 28th Jan 2020, this was the request for background check.
