DHL uses a 3rd party to deliver packages to Sydney. Contact DHL and tell them you want proof of delivery by the 3rd party, we had the same problem.

DHL uses a 3rd party to deliver packages to Sydney. Contact DHL and tell them you want proof of delivery by the 3rd party, we had the same problem.
I called DHL and they said it was delivered and send me a delivery confirmation as well but it only mentions "Delivery arranged. no further details expected"
What was your issue and how did you get it resolved if you don't mind me asking?It would literally break my heart if they lost my package and have to reapply again after 6 months of no words from IRRC.
Sue them if they did. Any idiot who cant deliver a simple package deserves it. Its their job.
We had the same concern as you, whether it was delivered because it was taking a long time to get AOR. When we asked for the proof from them. They got confirmation from the local company that it was delivered. You will have to call DHL and get them to get the confirmation info from the local carrier. DHL saying "Delivery arranged" is not confirmation IMO. Tell them you want the date and time it was delivered. Ours was and probably yours was too. If it will give you peace of mind you will have to press them harder for the info.
Just to note this is not uncommon amongst courier companies - some of them have good local networks in lots of countries, some are good only in their main markets, and ALL of them use various partners when they do not have the local infrastructure.
A lot of the time the 'local partner' will be the national post's courier arm - i.e. Canada Post in Canada.
Hi so I sent my package with Canada Post on May 2nd and tracking was not updating I filed a complaint with them and also got my MP to contact IRCC who then confirmed that Canada Post delivered on June 9th. Reach out to your MP. Just thought I would let you know.
