I see. In that case, you shouldn’t have any trouble whichever city you indicate. It only gets iffy when your approval depends on a job or a nomination or somewhat along those lines. FSW is the most convenient way to go. Congrats and Good Luck. Feel free to ask away if you need further clarification.
Yup will do, thanks for the support!

I just got my medical today, mostly good except for the sputum test which I have to provide on 3 separate days. Any experience here with the sputum test? and how did affect the timeline of your application? Thanks for the feedback.

Hi everyone, does the diploma have to be translated by a certified translator or will the English translation from my university do just fine? The original language is in Filipino.

I have read that most Filipino applicants submitted the English translation from the university along with the original diploma, and they got PPR. I am just getting anxious by the number of rejections I've seen in the forum lately, so I wanna make sure all of my docs are good.

Thank you!

Hi,

Submitted mine translated by my unis, with impressionable dry seal and all. Add your ECA in that pdf to go alongwith.

Best of luck!

Hi noramime,

You're right, sputum test is 60 days; usually yung additional test for lungs sa Canada PR visa medical adds 3 additional months to repeat the chest x-ray.

Call the clinic where you plan to take your medical, but when you get the nomination and ITA, I think you can proceed with the preliminary tests, and you can also give your medical reports on the ongoing treatment...you can get a UMF and it may be regarded "incomplete" pending the additional tests (if ever they are requested), but at least you'll be able to send your PR application na with the UMF.
They'll ask you when was the last time you had a chest x-ray, and I think they'll only ask for it if you have the old-style film, but not digital.

If you decline the OINP nomination to buy more time, you will have to ask OINP to resend it to you...actually, I don't know if that's possible for the same EE profile, or they will ask you to create a new EE profile if a provincial nomination was previously declined.

But I think since you are already undergoing treatment, you can proceed with the medicals after accepting the nomination and ITA once you get it. Just show up to your medicals with original reports of your treatment and explanation of pulmonary fibrosis, specially if the scar will still show up in the x-ray...they will attach it to your e-Medical file, and ideally, they won't ask you to take the 3-month test anymore.
Hi,
we submitted our PR and went for medicals. On the x-ray it is showing there is most likely pulmonary fibrosis. if we have pulmonary fibrosis in the chest x-ray , will they fail the medicals ? because clinic called and said we are submitting it to IRCC and it is not a major problem. They even said if the visa officer needs any further details, they will contact you. will they pass it ? or say they need few more tests ?

Hi, planning to start my Express Entry Application soon. Currently looking into AIMS Migration Consultancy but later found out na madaming naga-apply for EE without consultation. Asking rate nila is 9,600USD and that's just for the filing alone. Wala pang kasama. Hiwalay pa lahat ng cost. I'm planning sana for also applying ng Provincial Nomination. Kaya po ba ng wala nang consultancy company?

Where’d you have your medicals? I had mine done in St. Luke’s Extension Clinic last week of September. They also saw some opacities. I just had to bring previous xrays (more than 3 months old), and submit 3 sputum specimens (collected in one day, one hour apart). I was told by the pulmonologist that Canada requires three parameters, to clear an applicant from pulmonary TB, 1. Negative sputum smear, 2. Negative TB sputum culture, 3. Stable or improving opacity on xray (TB scars remain stable). They may or may not require you to undergo another xray 3 months after the initial xray to compare the findings. In my case I was not required anymore, since the same opacity were seen on my xrays in 2018 and 2019.

As of date, I’m just waiting for my TB culture (8 weeks from collection). I was told that SLEC will already upload my initial medical result, and I am to instructed to wait for an email for an additional test. If and when I receive one, I just need to print it and bring it to SLEC, since I already did them. I didn’t pay for any additional test for the TB clearance.

In addition, I’ve read in other threads that our eligibility will continue to be checked, regardless of medical exam status.

I’m doing mine without a consultant. Immigration consultants are not necessary, you may just read the numerous express entry guides in this forum. I had submitted my EE application last Sep 24 as a Foreign Skilled Worker - Overseas.

PNP can be tricky since there are a number of factors that you have to consider (e.g. ties to the province such as family members or work, job offer, and many more). PNP warrants a separate thread altogether. You can just google “comparison of Canada PNP eligibility” to see a quick comparison of the different PNPs.

Hi,

I have a Master's and Bachelor's degree. Pero I just provided the Master's degree for evaluation with WES. If ever I'll be submitting my EE, details lang ba ng Master's ang need ko ilagay sa EE application ko and remove ko na yung Bachelors? Thank you!

From what I've read here, you just need to include the ECA of the degree you're claiming points for, in your case your Master's degree.

You may include the TOR and diploma of your Bachelor's degree in your file to be uploaded in the Education Credentials section post-ITA, you also have to declare your Bachelor's Degree in the personal history section (but this is going way beyond your current status, these steps are done post-ITA).

Edit: Yes, you just need to give the details of your Master's degree. In my case, I only gave the details of my Med degree and did not include my pre-Med bachelor's details. I only gave the details of my Bachelor's post-ITA.

Thank you so much Sir for the prompt response. So should I just remove my Bachelor's degree in my EE or still include it but just answer "No" in the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)?

And then I'll put "yes" in Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for Masters including the ECA certificate number?

Thanks again and God Bless!

From my experience, I just declared my Med degree with ECA in the EE profile. I did not give any trace of my Bachelor's Degree. I just added my Bachelor's during the post-ITA period under "personal history."
