Hey Guys

My ITA was on: August 5
I did my medical Exam on: August 9
I received my AOR on: August 11

But since then nothing happened at all and I am worried since a lot of people here seems to advance quite rapidly.

I also got my ITA thanks to a PNP nomination from Ontario.

Is this normal? or is anything i can do?
This is normal. The first update you will see will be one medicals passed. This will depend on when your medical report was transmitted to IRCC by the panel physician. You can call your panel physician to confirm the date when the report was transmitted and within 1 months from there, you should see your medicals passed.

It seems that FSW Medicals and BIL is happening now. Looking at the current trend it will be PNP and then CEC to follow. I am waiting for an update myself. CEC - O .

Hey Guys,

On my CEC PR application there was a question- "Have you ever applied for PR before?". To this question I answered "NO" but it should have been "YES" as I also have a PNP PR application in process. I just received the AOR for PNP PR application yesterday.

Another minor error I made was that I answered 1 for the number of family members, whereas I should have answered 2. I did not think of myself as a family member and made this error.

Please advise what I should do in this scenario? Seniors please help. @legalfalcon

Thank You so much for your reply @legalfalcon. I read a lot of forums here and was afraid that they might consider this as misrepresentation? It was honestly a mistake, apart from this rest of the application is all correct.

Hey guys.
I’m an Fsw with:
Aor - august 20th
Mep and BIL - sept 12

Got an email the day after my BIL saying my account was updated but of course there was no visible update in my cic. But my Background check status still hasn’t moved from “we are processing” to “in progress”.

Is this strange? Does it eventually change or theres a possibility it could remain this way till ppr? Cz i assumed that email update after my BIL meant my background check had started but the status still hasn’t changed since the point of aor.
Hello, @legalfalcon please can you help with your 2 cents. I’ll really appreciate it

I would like to know this too. Like you, my BG check has been "we are processing" from aor until now. However, I know that my criminality is in progress, so that means it may display that status throughout. I know IP1, IP2 do not mean very much, but seeing these changes somehow helps psychologically!

The threads on this forum about post-aor stages have mentioned that aors after Dec 2018 will remain in false IP2 (we are processing...) status from start to end. But I have seen so many people with even 2020 aors post about the changes to the wording of their BG check. I wish my status would display changes too lol.

Exactly, i know the ip1/ip2 statuses don’t matter much and each case is different, but i can’t help be curious on why mine hasn’t changed since aor like majority of others this year.

Also, how do you know your criminality is in progress? Did you place a call to ircc or something?

Nothing so far! I'm CEC though and based on what I'm seeing on my immi tracker they haven't gotten to August AoRs yet. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks :)
