We got a request letter today only saying this: A properly completed application along with photos and copies of all pages of passport(s) used during the immediate last 5 years.

How vague?? What is properly completed application? Like if something was wrong, why wouldn't it be stated? We went over the application a million times and can't find any issues... Any ideas?

They want to see if the person really meets the RO and whether the stamps match up. I would include a detailed entry/entry timeline with the passport pages.

Thanks, yes I understand the passport pages copies part, what's unclear is the "properly completed application" - it implies that the sent application was improperly filled. We emailed them to ask but just wondering in the meantime if anyone had similar experience.

Hi, he just told me that he sent a request last week and waiting for a response. He crossed his 30 day period in August 1st week and his ticket request is for 1st week of September. Will post an update here once he shares it with me. I am helping him with my address for quarantine reasons.
Hi any update. Sorry for bothering you.

Hello Everyone,

me & my wife got our PR & were there in Canada from February 2012 to October 2014, my wife was the primary applicant & our PR card expired in April 2017. Our son was born in Canada in July 2012, & he holds his Canadian citizenship.

Actually we had to come back to India as my mother in law was not doing well & my wife already lost her father years ago, so being elder sister (sibling-younger sister) she had to watch on some financial and other social responsibilities. Unfortunately she passed away on July 1st 2019.

We were actually looking to move back to Canada, but we haven't visited Canada since October 2014. Can anyone suggest if applying for PRTD at this time would help and is it better to apply with immigration lawyer because they are quite expensive. Please suggest.

Your only option is to apply for PRTD based on H&C or try to enter via the US border.
