No it change from APPLICATION receive to in PROCESS, there's a line that said click under line status so when I click I only see when they received and when they send acknowledgement of receipt but it doesn't show when they actually start PROCESS it

Also, i came across this link on the government website with some info i found interesting.

As of December 2019, the processing inventory for In‑Canada humanitarian and compassionate cases was approximately 18,500 individuals.

Over 18,000 is a huge number!! I have to be keep patient till it gets to mu turn, I wonder how many they are at now.

The 2018 acceptance rate of In-Canada humanitarian and compassionate applications was 60%.
with 3700 positive approvals, that means they processed about 6166 applications in 2018.

More info on this link here

Good luck to everyone waiting!

We were waiting for 23 months before our status has changed to IN PROCESS. My observation from other people's reports on this forum is that our waiting time is an average waiting time these days.

It’s because, those people have a deportation order because CBSA will do everything to get them out of the country so those applications tends to move quickly in order to stop deportation.(Atleast that’s the pattern I’ve seen)or some other extenuating circumstance.
