Guys.. Need opinion on this....
My name in the passport is MEGHA XXXXXXCHANDRA JIXXXXXXXXXX but in all other documents (work, education, banks etc) my name is MEGHA XXXXXX JIXXXXXXXXXXX.
Do I need to declare change of name in the Express entry application ? ANd if yes, what document should I get, as ask for a document upload for name change???

Hello everyone,

In my EE profile, I noted only one position - position "X". However, I started off as a junior (e.g., "Junior X") and worked up the ladder to earn the position of "X" at the same company & department.

• Do I need to revise my EE profile to include all different positions in the company from "Junior X" up to "X" position, or can I just leave it as it is?

My concern is that my reference letter would most likely refer to 2 positions - "Junior X" and "X" - instead of one noted in my EE profile. Will this be seen as a discrepancy and could my application be rejected on this ground?

Lastly, if you advise to revise my EE profile, are there any downsides to it? Could my score be lowered for some reason?

Hello, My application was accepted on 29th January 2020, Medical and Biometric completed on 14th February 2020. Can any one suggest when I can expect my application might be completed?
Once this process is completed, I hope CIC will be intimating me through email. Can someone advise me on the subsequent steps thereafter which I would be required to take up, as I am staying at Calgary since June 2018.

I received a new ITA recently after my previous application got cancelled due to a wrong document, I was wondering if it is acceptable to request the clinic to upload the same medical test results for the new application since it has been done within less than 12 months? anyexperience with that ?

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready

Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.

I worked as a FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR (NOC B AND CODE 6311) full time in the first week of June 2019 tO JAN 2020

then

from March 2020 to till now I am working as TRAVEL SERVICE SUPERVISOR (NOC B -CODE 6313 (full time))_

here my question is ,,, AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPLY UNDER CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS WITH THESE TWO DIFFERENT JOBS. AND AROUND 2 MONTHS GAP.

OR DO I NEED TO COMPLETE ONE YEAR IN JOB THAT I AM WORKING NOW( TRAVEL SERVICE SUPERVISOR)

• have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada, in the last 3 years before you apply, and the work experience must be:
  • full-time, or
  • an equal amount in part-time
• have gained your work experience by working in Canada legally

According to the Canadian National Occupational Classification, skilled work experience means:

• managerial jobs (skill level 0)
• professional jobs (skill type A)
• technical jobs and skilled trades (skill type B)

Your work experience can be in 1 or more NOC 0, A or B jobs.
