Okay. For me they have been the same throughout.
Correct in a way that these are generic messages as mentioned earlier, the eligibility will not change until COPR. Background check message often changes when criminality checks are done and then changes again when security checks are done.

Hello Experts

Most of the March AOR have not been able to submit their Biometrics,

If the centers remain closed further would IRCC skip this process and go ahead with the COPR process, or the cases will be put on hold ???

In my opinion, I don’t think they will skip this step as they are giving BIL everyone who’s applying for immigration. Further, it’s highly likely that our process will be put on hold until we can give the biometrics and they can check our background with that. I just hope that they keep processing our other processes like eligibility etc.

Most CEC applicants gave biometrics during their study or work permit applications and said biometrics are still valid. I wonder why they can’t make exceptions and use the old biometrics. Because it’s going to be hell when Service Canada finally opens

Hi,

CEC Inland
AOR - Mar 31
MEP - May 29

I just received a response to my webform:

Case is getting processed in Ottawa.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.
  • The background verifications are in process.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification is in process.
Does this mean my eligibility has passed? It doesn't mention anything about eligibility but looking at others' responses on this thread it seems like it would mention eligibility if they are still reviewing it?
