Thanks for your response. Only things that bars me from sending my bachelor's degree is that it is a 2 yrs bachelor's. Had it been a 4 yrs degree, I wouldn't hv given 2nd thought about doing so. Sending both degrees would make it evident that I hv 16 yrs education and chances of getting master's equivalence might diminish.

With Master's degree and good IELTS, I can score between 456-460.
I have two options for the NOC, 0124 or 1123 (marketing professionals)
Mate, whatever it is, without delay get the ECA done ASAP. Most ppl are expecting that the cut-off score will plummet.
As you know, very less IELTS slots have opened up and even lesser candidates can write exam and also, as pencil based IELTS is not happening (most candidates get high score by this mode), lesser and lesser candidates would be able to get into the pool.
Plus ECA organization (CES, WES, ICES, IQAS) staff are working from home and they do not have access to files that come to their office until September or Oct. So when they come back to work, they will first have a hard time sorting files that come to their offices and there will undoubtedly be higher delays in getting ECA done.
Yes, as you said, if it is a 2 years bachelor degree, you will mostly not get Master's equivalency.
You can try this, send your Master's transcript to IQAS (they are more lenient in awarding Master's equivalency) and send your bachelor's degree to WES.
By the way, is your IELTS done?

So you think I should not send my bachelor's degree to CES !!
For IQAS i need to check their requirement whether they need only the highest degree or all degrees including bachelor's and Intermediate. I have heard they take even more time than CES for evaluation.
My IELTS is on hold as of now because If I do not get Master's equivalence then there is no point of creating an EE profile with 420+ points. BTW in EE profile do we need to mention ECA outcome of the highest degree only?

You can update all degrees that you have. I have did that to be on safe side.
Because, as you may know, we need to reveal everything after getting ITA, which is considered to be the best practice.
So get both evaluated to avoid any last moment rush or requirement.
Why IELTS on hold?
You wrote it once or never appeared?

I have 2 yrs Bachelor's degree followed by 2 yrs MBA(75 Credit Hrs) (16 years education). To get a better CRS score, I am in dire need to get a Master's equivalence. For ECA through CES, I am in a quandary whether to send my bachelor's degree with MBA or not. My mind is pushing me to send only MBA degree while 2 different consultants have advised to send Bachelor's degree as well, without mentioning any specific reason for the same.

Do any of you see any harm in sending/not sending bachelor's degree?
Which option would have better chances of getting master's equivalence (I know, no one except CES can decide that, but still need your opinion)

Don't you think sending both degrees would make it obvious that I have 16 yrs education which could deny me a master's equivalence?

Plz Help, I will proceed with HEC attestation and CES fee in light of your comments.

Additionally, a Canadian consultant told me that owing to COVID situation, CES isn't asking for hard copies of transcripts / degrees through courier and that we just need to upload HEC attested transcripts / degrees. Is it right? (Have emailed CES about the same & awaiting their response).
aj534160, any suggestion please?
Depending on your MBA program and university, you might be able to get Masters equivalency by only sending your MBA (I've read some posts about it). I can almost guarantee that if you send a 2-yr Bachelors with your MBA, you will definitely not get Masters equivalency. CES does not require all of your degrees to do an assessment, unlike WES.

What do you mean that you have 16-year education? Nothing matters below Bachelor level, if you have Bachelor's equivalency.

CES will take a long time assessing new ECAs, time is of the essence. Try to do this as soon as you can. Prepare yourself to take the IELTS. You won't know until you try. Good luck!

Thanks for your response. Since you have gone through entire process post ITA, are there any chances that an immigration officer might ask for ECA of your bachelor's as well (which the applicant never sent for ECA) if he is skeptical of your master's degree equivalence? Do we need to mention ECA outcome for the highest degree in the EE system? what about the rest of the degrees, are they optional?

Officers normally only need the ECA of your highest degree. In my case, I only submitted ECA for my PhD, but I do have a Masters and a Bachelors as well. I have not been asked for more ECAs. I don't think IRCC would be skeptical of a Masters Equivalency if the ECA agency says it is. On your EE profile you would state your highest degree with your ECA as part of education, but other education should go on Personal History and you will not be getting points from that.

Normally, when people put 2 or more ECAs as part of their education on their EE profile, they want to claim CRS points for 2 or more degrees or a post-graduate degree (commonly 1-year of program length). Only your highest degree is required, other ones are optional in case you need them for points.

Guys, I have sent my docs (transcript) on Dec 11 to CES. My University (Anna University - Chennai, India) was not approved by UGC at the time (2015 when I joined); however, the university got the approval now.
My university was approved by AICTE though. Now CES informed me that my university was under UGC during the time I studied and hence seeks a letter from the university demanding the same. Anybody in my situation?
I'm stuck

Hi My physical documents reached CES office before 10th March. Due to COVID they could not access these documents. So they reached my university for some electronic copy and some verification. That is the last update with me. The worst is that there is no way of reaching CES. they are not responding to calls or mails. Are they available on twitter.
