Hello I just Received a PR CONFIRMATION email today.

This letter does not replace the permanent resident card; you are still required to submit the
documentation to obtain your permanent resident card. If you have a Confirmation of
Permanent Residence (COPR) document in-hand, please send it along with one photo that
meets our photo specifications to the address listed above. Please ensure that you write your
unique client identifier (UCI) and name on the back of the photo. If your address has
changed, please provide us with your current address.

Do I need to send both copies (client and IRCC copies) or just IRCC copy? And do I need to sign them. Kindly advise
I understand your confusion. These are the exact words I received:

This letter does not replace the permanent resident card; you are still required to submit the documentation to obtain your permanent resident card. If you have Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) documents in-hand, please send both of them (signed) with one photo that meets our photo specifications to the address listed above. Please ensure that you write your unique client identifier (UCI) and name on the back of the photo. Please write your current address on the Address section of your CoPR documents (both copies).

It varies slightly from what you have. For information I sent both CoPR documents in-hand signed, making sure the details requested on the back of the photo supplied were there. There was no specific "Address Section" in my case so I wrote my current address on the CoPRs in a suitable place - hopefully this shouldn't invalidate these documents.

In your case I see no logical reason why you should send any document to them unsigned. I imagine you will be sent back your copy with their signatures filled in together with your PR card. That makes sense since some here are saying that you need a CoPR for future applications such as the Citizenship application.

Hello,
Thanks in advance for answering my question

My mom just received Her passport and PR visa and she is with me in Canada. I tried to search information about appointment or re-entry during the special period of covid19 but I found nothing but no appointment now and it’s dangerous to re-enter from other country (The closest country border closed anyway). I wonder if anyone knows anything about it or my mom has to wait. Much appreciated

thanks,
Robert

Can you let us know which email address you are receiving the pr confirmation email from?
Hi, my application is also in land application and I also received the same email /information letter.
I received letter stating "Permanent Residence in Canada is now complete". I m supposed to send COPR with photo to one address. I applied from within Canada but traveled to my home country, so that I can do landing but got stuck.
Question: Can I send COPR n photo from outside Canada , if yes my PR card will be delivered to my address in Canada. What should be further process?
If No, what should be done?

Anyone here who is in Edmonton that has COPR expiring on or before June 15? I have contacted IRCC many times regarding my landing appointment and they told me I have to wait 6-8 weeks for an appointment. The VO Edmonton is currently close as far as I know. 8 weeks had passed but I haven’t heard from them. Sent a webform that I cannot travel and asked for landing appointment but they said I have to wait until they call me. What is the email in Edmonton VISA OFFICE? Should I contact them directly? Im so anxious and dont know what to do. Please help

I was scheduled for landing appointment in Edmonton on March, 17, 2020 but due to Covid 19 it was cancelled. I sent multiple emails without any response from IRCC. I raised a webform 3 weeks ago and they replied 2 weeks ago. They sent an urgent request to Edmonton office to validate my PR. Till now I did not hear anything. Any clues about Edmonton office processing? Would it be helpful to send another urgent request through the webform?
Hey did you hear from them yet?

I am waiting since March, the same. My dependent is outside and can't come now. The officer is nice replying my emails. He told they have clear instructions no landing for such applicants, only for those whose all family members inside. I feel really discriminated but what is an option? The officer told to be patient. I just hope they will finally open the offices for regular services soon.
It's very stressful to read that people are getting these emails and asking what's wrong with me? Is it my fault as a main applicant that my dependent outside Canada? I followed all rules and suffered the same but for me and others in the same situation there is no email?!
Sorry, guys, congratulations for everyone who is lucky to allow yourself your family this time and finally get this formality for pr.
In which VISA office is this? I have a dependent outside Canada too

My dependent is outside Canada. How about you? My visa expires June 15 . Haven’t heard from VO Edmonton yet after I contacted IRCC last Mar 18
Most of us here are in the same situation. Unfortunately we have to wait to get our PR confirmation as all the borders are closed.
