Yes, so I was told. Everything happened after November 04. The online support I had a conversation with told me so. I also submitted mine on the 25th of this month. I’m hoping to get it back before the end of this new week.
That is just not going to happen, no one gets their passport back within 2 weeks. It takes 3 weeks to process and send it back to you even though it's now processed within the Country. They have not improved on the time.

I'd really suggest you fly out to Accra and go to the Visa office over there in person. They sometimes hold in person interviews with Nigerian Express Entry applicants so it's possible to go there in person. I think this is the final solution to your problem. Book your ticket and go pick up your passport.
How? I dont have a passport. and if so, I cannot come back because my visa for nigeria is only single entry. Ottawa sent me a message Nov 30 and told me to allow sometime to verify my enquiry, that they will verify with accra if my passport is there. I do not know how long it will take but this is the start of the third week that the passport is with them.

You are right, sorry i didn't think of that. But that is very positive news. I believe all this will be resolved now that an official enquiry has been raised by Ottawa. Might be delayed but you'll have your copr eventually, soon. Good luck.

well actually, our HR head told me that I can apply for travel document issued by our embassy in Abuja. IF I do not get my passport in the next coming weeks, although the measure is extreme, I'll go and try that and travel to Accra. thanks for the nice words. Ive exhausted some measures like verifying with DHL if they really delivered my passport at the Canada High Commission (and they said yes). I also called Accra VO and of course the one who answered couldnt give details. Do you think my passport will be entertained in Accra. I was reviewing all day yesterday the VFS site and it seems that even Abu Dhabi implemented VFS only passport transmission effective Nov 2. But why did they send me a PPR on Nov 8 informing me that courier is still an option. Also, why would ottawa send me an Accra PPR on Nov 13 when effective Nov 2, Nigeria residents can mail their passport to Lagos. Makes me wonder really

I doubt it'll be processed for copr in Accra because it would be updated with copr on your cic account by now if that was the case. I believe your passport is there tho but Accra is so inept and their communication sucks. Someone will dig it and and return it once Ottawa starts to inquire.

I am trying to think positively that they will. But then again, Accra says they arent my VO. they say Ottawa handles my case. But my friend in Ottawa called Ottawa and they said that only applications within canada appear in their system. So who is? (and ottawa hasnt answered that). I am so stressed because my PPR for ADVO is about to end on the 7th. Accra PPR on the other hand is about to expire on the 12th. I sent CSE for extension of passport submission Nov 27 and 28 but not yet addressed.

The fact that you've raised this issue and that Ottawa is a aware of it means that they will extend your ppr submission deadline. It's happened before. Some people didn't even know they had the ppr in their inbox till the deadline passed so don't worry about the ppr expiry, you will be accommodated.

As per who's your visa office, that doesn't matter in this case right now because it's not about inquiring about an update on the application, it's about a misplaced passport in their system so they'll have to work between themselves (ottawa and accra) to resolve it and that's what the Nov 30th e-mail to you was basically about.

thanks. that makes a whole lot of sense. I am tempted to write another webform or email today but my friends tell me give it some days.

Yes i'd listen to them. Give it till the end of the week.
Apparently I did not have to wait for a week. CPC Ottawa replied last night and told me that they have confirmed that my passport is in Accra Visa Office. It was also advised to contact Accra. I just sent an email to Accra and asked if they will be the one to do the stamping and COPR. do you think thats possible?

I mean i hope cpc ottawa already gave accra the go signal to process my visa since my ppr was intended for accra. so i asked three questions. 1. can they process my visa. 2. when can they return my passport. 3. can they send my passport through the air waybill I enclosed.

Very good and to the point questions. Now it's up to Accra to show some professionalism and efficiency by responding to your inquiry asap.
