Personally I didn't but it was mentioned on the e-mail my husband received with regards to his Approval to Sponsor - it was the Mississauga VO.

AOR Received.
23-05-2019
Hello Guys ,

Anyone in this group that received AOR 1 and after that no update for a month or so?

If no , is there someone in this group , for whom it took long time to get SA.

I am a little concerned because for me its exactly 1 month today that after AOR 1 i got no update.

My timeline : May31st file received

AOR 1 - July 20th 2019.

We got AOR1 on May 23rd and nothing ever since. We called 3 weeks ago and the agent told us that he will request a reason for why they stopped processing our application and that we should call back a month later which is next Monday. I hope that we will get some good information next week and that things will finally start progressing.
So even though most people get their SA and such quickly after AOR, you are not alone. I have seen other people write on this forum that for some reason they are not getting anything after AOR1.

It wouldn't matter whether by land or air. So, if you've read that Quebec is different, it is probably different and you would want to cross in another Province. Having said that, I haven't read anywhere that Quebec is any different . Apparently it could be a minor hassle to land somewhere other than what is stated on your COPR but completely OK. Doesn't your letter, specifically identifying Toronto tell you what your options might be?

Hi Iccliff,

Successfully landed in Ontario province itself. Its a little bit of hassle but everything went well. However, after returning back to United States for my unknown curiosity i had open to i94, to see how quick it gets updated but to my surprise, i see there is an error. It has been stated as "Class of Admission" :F1, WHICH IS NOT , I AM ON MY H1.

Anyone has an idea how and where exactly do we need to correct this. One of my friend suggested that we can go to the nearest airport where there is an immigration point and follow the procedure. Is that right. anyone had been in this situation?

Thanks,
Anvesh.

Hi All,

I have received a PP request yesterday from CIC and they want me to send necessary documents via UPS or FedEx by including a pre-paid return envelope.

I went to both UPS & FedEx - they tried to generate return labels, but the system is not allowing them to do it. They both confirmed that they can't do it as it is an international shipping.

Anyone faced similar situation? If yes, how did you sent the courier to CIC Canada from USA?
