Yes, got PPR within first 2 weeks of re-opening. And another week or so for passport stamping and approval.

Now I have requested IRCC to withdraw the second application. Lets see if they refund the RPRF only or the application fees as well.
How did you reopen the rejected application? I read somewhere that application once rejected cannot be reopened.

Hi everyone,

I'd greatly appreciate it if you could help me on my case, today I received my 2nd set of GCMS notes, the first one I ordered did not even come, so this is actually the first time I received my notes and to my surprise there are issues on my application that my eligibility is not met - for refusal; I'm already past the 6months mark, but according to my notes and I also called IRCC today my application is still open and in progress.

on the Notes 2; it says no duties provided for employment/no letter of support for foreign work experience. I applied for EE PR under FSW, on my PR application I submitted all the necessary documents for my employment here in Canada, but only to realized now that I did not include employment history/documents from my home country, in which I already have them on hand for the longest time, as I've used them to apply for my student visa way back in 2014, so yesterday I've raised a CSE and submitted a follow up documents (foreign work experience - completed certification of employment with duties/responsibilities with company letter head signed and notarized, payslips 3mos worth, tax form, employment agreement/benefits, ) in support of my PR application, will they be able to consider it and review my case again? how should I proceed now?

I attached here the actual notes I received,

Hi David..

Did you not try submitting correct document again using Case Specific Inquiry and called them to attach revised document to your file? or are call center team not able to send updated document to concerned Visa office/officer?

I just sent the missing documents through CSE yesterday, and called IRCC today to follow up on the sent documents, they said it will take maximum of 30 days to actually reflect the new documents on my current file. which I'm hoping not, as It'd be best if they receive and update my application with it sooner.

Hi, did you have any update on your case?
yes, they sent me an email on Aug 1 saying that the additional documents I sent will be reviewed and it is now in queue for the officer to review and I will be contacted in due course. so I don't know how long it would take to get it processed, I'm just hoping things will go well. I'm still waiting for another set of GCMS notes and hopefully it'll reflect any changes as I ordered it prior to me sending the documents.

Hi, my AOR was
May 17,
CEC , on Work permit, LIMA exempted
Medical passed on 2nd July.
Edmonton office

I had called agent yesterday to ask about the progress of my application and was told that criminality was passed and eligibility and security were in progress.

Today i got a refusal letter straight away stating that i did not meet the eligibility. Just to let you know , i had claimed 50 points for arranged employment and as a proof, had attached employment proof letter from employer stating my salary, designation, NOC, and a statement that i am required to work in the organisation for 2 years. It did mention my duration of stay here, however, not word to word as per the CIC guidelines.
The refusal letter stated that -“ none of the employment letters provided by me, established that i will be employed for at least 1 year after receiving PR”.

Moreover, i am not the 1st employee in my organisation to have used this letter. I know at least 10 colleagues who have claimed 50 points and used the same letter as proof and have got PR too.

Any kind of help/ suggestions will be highly appreciated.

@legalfalon your suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Dear All,

This looks like a healthy thread to talk about Refused & Reapplied applications.

Need help, My application was refused and I reapplied, received ITA.. and now working on gathering the documents to be submitted. Is there a need to add an LOE In the optional documents for reapplying? And the reason for rejection last time? In the statuary questions, I have answered the questions as Yes for past refusal and provided my last application number etc.. will that be enough?

Please advice.

Thanks in advance!

An update to above:

Called IRCC regarding above and the agent suggested to attach the new PCC's and RPRF for E1.

I asked if both applications are at similar stage, then he said that since E2 is getting processed at NDVO, he has no idea about it. For E1 (which is getting processed at Ottawa), he said background check is not started because of pending New PCC's and RPRF.

Moreover as per him, in this situation the E2 (NDVO) application will get cancelled.

Please feel free to provide suggestions.
1) Not sure if Ottawa is faster or NDVO.
2) Or is it the case that some processing is done in Ottawa and then for final check the application is send to local visa office (in this case NDVO)? Because that will mean E2 is going faster.
Please I am in a similar situation what number or mail can I reach ircc with

Hi
I have a similar situation as yours. May I know, did you receive any update post the email stating that your documents have been sent to the responsible officer for review?
My situation -
AOR- 27th Sept 2019
Refusal - 9th Oct
Refund of complete fees (paid upfront) - 16th Oct
Case re-open (without my request) - 17th Oct
Sent the requested PCC thru webform - 9th Nov
Acknowledgement email - 15th Nov
There hasnt been any change in my profile since i sent the documents.
Any insights on my situation any1?

My experience with calling CIC is not that good because firstly it takes lot of time and then you mostly get some updates about the application. Also the agent may not take any request or perform any action.

If you valid reasoning and want your application to get re-opened then the best way to reach CIC is using the web-form, where you can attach the relevant documents with your request:

@sg02 Hi sg, when they reopened your case did you have to withdraw the newer application or IRCC does it automatically? I am guessing they did not refund the application fees right?

thanks
