Is it OK to send in application when both the sponsor (who is a citizen) and the PA is outland?

You can! However, sponsor must proof they’ll go back to Canada once you become a PR. I think what some people did is laying out plans in LOI

Its a letter of intent or explanation. Your partner would use it to establish plans to move back. Like proof of job offer, conversation with families, mortgage paid, letters of support from family and friends.. etc

If you search the forum for LOI or LOE you’ll find a lot of people going over it in detail.

Don’t just provide one proof. Try to get as many as you can to establish intent

Yes, the application received on Apr. 18th was returned because the birth certificate of PA was missing.

How to link account to GCKey
(1) Go to this below listed link
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html
(2) Click on continue to Gckey
(3) If You've already account created, login with your Username and Password otherwise Click on Sign up to go on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
(4) After creating my CIC account, click link application to this account.
(5) Then select category and subcategory that you applied for.
(6) Then select Application Number and Family name
(7) Fill your family name(surname), given name and date of birth as per Passport or Application form. PUT YOUR FAMILY NAME IS THIS FORMAT - Smith (ensuring the first letter is capitalized). Then fill in Application number.
(8.) Next in applicant personal info panel fill CITY AND COUNTRY OF BIRTH, DO NOT FILL IN ANY PASSPORT INFORMATION. AGAIN WRITE ON THE SAME FORMAT (CAPITALISED FIRST LETTER OF YOUR CITY).
(9) Select Province and town you intend to live in (as on your IMM0008) and select current marital Status.
(10) Finally select 2 as the number of family members.
(11) Once you fill all information, Click on Search for my application
(12) Your application will be found and can be linked.
(13) You can get real time updates on your paper application online.

Yes, I sent them on May 23 and I have just found out that I can link them at an online account. I haven't received anything from CIC neither mail nor e-mail.

Hi, it is after you have received an acknowledgment mail (which will contain a reference number) from CIC that you can link it to your online account.
Please what is the exact date that your Application to Sponsor was received by the CPC?

Fingers crossed then. I think it takes a long time like between 45 - 50 days after receiving your sponsorship application before they send Acknowledgment of Receipt. That is if you included all necessary forms

So if I want to make an online account I have to receive the Acknowledgement of Receipt first?
