Anyone's application got processed in Edmonton visa office?

I want to raise a CSE asking to take my file to another office since this office is not going to meet the timelines. If they did not touch my file since the MEP, how come they will keep to the 6 months then?

I have a study offer for PhD and if I won't confirm it before the end of June, I will lose the academic year. I can't accept it before being a PR. I wanted to apply for a mortgage as well but I can't before the PR. My apartment is very bad and I can't move now as I can't commit for a one year lease in a new place. This delay is killing and my life is all frozen

Same here my friend. Can't move to a new apartment, can't change jobs, can't get my driver's license, all because of the PR. Unfortunately the BOWP is not the solution for all my problems, and I am also waiting for that.

Anyways, lets have faith and keep holding tight. I passed the 8 months line last Friday. Criminality check since medical approved. We need to have Faith! Thats all!!

I don’t know what they are up to ... Edmonton visa office is the slowest one among all the processing centres ... until 7-8 month they won’t even touch the file ... really frustrating ...

AOR is Jan 28th then your application is not even 4 months yet, like 3.5 months, why would you say that it’s almost 5 months. You should call ircc to ask for more info like your criminality review, eligibility and if your security screening has started yet, according to my calculation I think you should get your ppr around middle of June.

In IP2 status from FEB month itself, AOR Dec26. Security screening in pending forl ast 2 months. all other passed. Not sure whats going on & taking so long.

Nothing, called them on Tuesday, they said pls give them some time to process since my application still has 16 week left, Eligio recommended passed = reviewing, criminality passed, security not started. Nothing can do now, only sit and wait, whatever comes will come.

I called ircc yesterday and they said that because I had ADR, so my application had been held off till they received my rcmp, so my application will be slower for sure

Let's say if your VO id Edmonton, don't expect your PPR arrive within 5 months, give it at least 160 days waiting...

"Aor Jan 26th. CPC Edmonton. CEC inland. Called CIC today. My timeline changed from July 26th to September 30th. Eligibility is still processing and Security not started. It will be delayed over two months. So frustrated...."
So guys, calm down and let's hope this not happening on our application

I see Edmonton CPC is not a problem for just me, haha. AOR Oct 6, call centre agent told me eligibility, criminality, security all passed Mar 18, application "approved" Apr 17. Had a bring-forward date assigned which has been and gone over a week ago (May 15). I just don't understand what's going on over there.
