Hi everyone, I am a Jan 2018 applicant, did my test in June 18, passed the test and interview however no DM as of today. I have called so many times and they always say everything is good, I just need to wait and if they need anything they will reach out to me. When I hit my 12 month mark on Jan 2019 they said the only thing left was to verify physical presence and they even mentioned on the phone that this should be the easiest step..not sure why it is taking so long...any advice/similar experiences??

Things for you to do:

Follow up! Maybe your file is biting the dust. Maybe the officer forgot to ask for details from CBSA.

Question for you:
How’s your interview? Any red flags?

I have been following up twice a month, other than the webforms that I sent, they always say I just have to wait, last time they said the officer responded and said they they are still working on it. The agent told me since there is nothing to do from my end, they will follow up for me??
Also interview went totally fine, the officer told me that I might wait till Jan 2019 to get the oath since its 12 months processing time, but since then not even decision made has been updated on my case..

Have you contacted your MP, sometimes they can give you a insight of what is happening.. Good luck!

As per my MP, they responded by saying my case is a complex one so they are doing further verifications and cannot give me a timeframe..i dont understand why..it was pretty straight forward and my whole family became citizens except for myself funny enough we all have almost identical cases..the only difference is I traveled with my university for few months...I dont know how much longer I am going to wait..

Who’s your MP? You may want to do a little research about him, if the information he’s been passing on to you is credible!

It wasnt thr actual MP it was one of the empolyees in the office, she said they have a different phone number they call to get this info other than the one we call to. I called her back asking if that makes my case "non-routine" she responded by saying that they didnt say that specifically they just said its complex which she thinks makes it non-routine...losing hope here

MP wouldn’t bother to look into our queries. It will be one of his constituency assistants, who would be assisting the applicants.
You are FINE, don’t lose hope!
They say that to just shush a person. You wouldn’t get a RQ.

Hi ,
I have been reading your post, and I am in exactly the same situation, I have done the test and got DM in November 2018 and still waiting for oath, the intervention of my MP resulted in a response saying this is a complex case, I have requested the ATIP notes and it shows the officer notes stating that all checks has been passed and no further concern, the file is tagged ceremony ready but yet one of those who answered about an inquiry on the status of my file after passing 12 months in the case processing centre did write that the 12 months time frame is not always relevant and this is a complex claim. I am in Mississauga and my file is in Scarborough.
There are lot of question marks, and it seems that no one can answer them. If the level two officer stating that the full file has been checked, and no further concerns, is there another check stage after that?
What is holding them to schedule my oath?
Is the case qualifying to file a writ of mandamus should I go chaise my case with a lawyer?

Really really frustrating.

Hope you get invited to oath the next day ! At least 30% of people taking oath with me just took their test the day before
