just got the CBSA notes. It came as two pages of paper and a CD. Haven't gone in detail of CD, but the paper says "disclosed in part" with 13(1)a, 15(1), 16(1)c. Can anyone please advice if this indicates my file is under SS or not? Thank you in advance.

For sure your security has started, otherwise, CBSA wouldn't have any record on you to release. It seems you are under SS, but to make sure you have to look at the info in the CD (if they haven't redacted the info)

The letter that you see is just explaining the sections of the law that allows them to redact the notes. For CIC GCMS notes, they also send these info and links in the email.

In the past, CBSA didn't redact any info, but as we could tell they will start to redact one day. And it seem that the day has arrived. In the last couple of weeks, I saw a lot of people saying their CBSA notes is also redacted. The same thing happened to me. They just sent me a letter with these sections saying they need more time to decide which info they can release. I think they are still new to this system and don't know which info to redact or not. Hope they haven't redacted that much for you.

However, the longer you've been waiting means the closer PPR is. Unless you're under SS, haha.

Hopefully a wave of PPR come tomorrow.

You would have to travel back in time (to right before you submitted your application) to get “ALL” your money back
But, you should get a refund of your RPRF fee if you withdraw your application.

You find it funny about people being putted under SS? Under SS doesn't really mean we're nowhere closer to our PPRs. We're already having a rough time because of the long wait and we definitely don't need your tease to make it rougher.

You won’t get entire money back as they have already done some work on your application. Yes you get RPRF amount back if you withdraw.

I would suggest wait for atleast a month before taking any action as they should clear june backlogs this month or maximum by mid April.

For all June people waiting for ppr -

You all decide an email format with same subject line and content and send it to respective visa offices. I guess most people would have visa office as Ottawa.
Such step would force them to atleast read one email and take action on pending applications.

You can try it out. You never know it may work in your favour.

I will pray for you guys. You have waited enough and they should not do this to people who are waiting without any reason. Atleast they should have some decency to inform people that we are shortage of employees or whatever reason because of which you will get your ppr by this month.

God have some mercy on people waiting and prioritize their applications.

After waiting for 20 mins on phone and pressing many 1's and 2's they said that currently there is highly volume of calls and i can't be connected..tried again but same answer..
I think i should get a tourist visa for canada, go to ottawa office and handover them my file personally..may be then they might wake up..
i wonder if cic agents are actually even working also or their each day is a holiday..how could that not understand a simplest logic of FIFO system..
9 months and 1 week,they have not even started criminality..last due date on gcms was 5th jan 2019..

there is never a FIFO in immigration files period..if ur file is complex .. then as per ur LOGIC.. FIFO other work should stop eh...

hahahhahahahahah secret... they have system in place which puts together mail with same stuff and send s to anothe rdept whcih send the count and reason to respective departments... so if u think u r spamming them to read ainy happening buddy

Total crap. Most files are held for no reason. My file was too simple with no travel history or any issue. Even gcms was crystal clear and it showed file was not touched for months. It’s their fault of sheer laziness.

When all doors are close you have to try something out. Just because you were lucky to get ppr doesn’t mean others can’t try anything.

Chill buddy. Stop spreading negativity. People are already pissed of because of long wait.
