Inland Spousal Sponsorship - December 2018

Hey guys, I've noticed on eCAS that the sponsorship application ( sponsor ) changed from "In Process" to "Application Received". Is this normal?

This happened to me as well! (But last week)

My timeline is:

Application received: 10th December
AOR: 14th February
MR: Not yet requested
OWP approved: 20th March

i was not aware that we can check the status of sponsorship too. But just now after reading your posts I checked mine. it says

SPONSORSHIP APPLICATIONS STATUS- Application received
PR- In Process

Upon clicking the status comes like below:

for sponsorship-

1. We received your application to sponsor XXXXXX on December 31, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 13, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on March 12, 2019.

for PR-
We received (applicant name) application for permanent residence on December 31, 2018.

Can anyone advise on this status.

It is crazy how the January inland applicants are receiving their OWPs 2 months after receipt..Did we get the slower agents or something? It is crazy how that can happen; so much for "in order as received".

According to the shared google document it seems a lot of us are still awaiting OWPs

I agree! January 15th applicant got owp a week ago, that’s almost a month after ours was received. I don’t know what’s happening

Yes no idea! And some in december, before and after me, have received the OWP

Mine says the same thing. Not sure what it means. Seems to have happened to a few people so far. Most likely is normal I would guess?

I received my AOR Feb. 15. After that, nothing else. None. Nada. I’m beginning to worry. A lot of Dec applicants already have medical requests and OWP. Should I call CIC now?

From my knowledge of other threads on this forum, as long as you have AOR you should be okay. Like you said you've already got OWP anyway. Some people get medical request near the end.

Did you check what your ECAS file says for each of you?

Oh. I don’t have OWP yet, and medical. Just AOR. We used a representative so I won’t be able to check the status online. I called the automated status service and it only gave me the info I already know.

I guess I’m just being anxious because those who submitted their application after me are getting Medical, OWP and few even received AIP. Can’t help but to think if there’s aomething wrong with my papers.

Trust me I know! People after me, dec 14, are getting OWP even some january. You be able to have access to your application number.

No problem! You can see sponsor side progress and applicant. Hit "back" when you click on an application to go back as it seems there isnt another way

My application said In Process Thank you for the link though. Now I have a way to check it online. By the way, is there any way to check the status of OWP as well?
