Basically passport request is for issuing the Confirmation of Permanent Residency (COPR) and put a stamp on your passport. That technically ends your PR journey and you are ready to travel to Canada[/QUOTE.
Great . Pardon my ignorance. I received the same today morning.
Actually I was so fed up finally stopped checking application status online. Today was going through emails to check a old forgotten password of a travel booking website and found this email. As it was written request letter for application finalization. So thought may be again a step.
Thanks for clarifying

Hi all, I am the primary applicant and my AOR is 22nd Sept. My husband recently went to London (he is my dependent). Do I need to notify IRCC about his travel? If yes, then how? Thanks

My AOR is September 17th. I received my GCMS notes and the eligibility is marked as met on 2nd November. I have no idea what is happening now. I havent received and ghost update or my profile hasnt changed since medical passed.
When I called IRCC, the officer was not willing to say anything. Told me to just wait till 6months mark.
My AOR is also Sept. 17th (inland Express Entry) and last friday i talked to the agent and he told me that we are reviewing your eligibility :(

They usually send files to local visa office for assessment ....u don't have any issue ...all is well ...its very normal for files to be sent out okay ..
Am aor 12th Oct ...called last Wednesday and was told I have passed medals and criminality.... Eligibility and security hasn't started...
it is highly likely that they are just the different wording for same thing used by different analysts after they reviewed your case.

I just want to know the trend about CEC applications. My AOR is September 20th
Eligibility- under review/ recommended pass. As per GCMS note they couldn’t determine my level of education on Canada. I did a post grad diploma in a college.
Criminality- passed
Security- not started
Any other CEC still waiting for PPR... ? it seems CIC placed CEC application at the very backend of files to look at.
