Hello..My application got received November 19th..awaiting AOR..my visitor status expires in February.
Do you advice I apply for an extension, while I await my AOR?

I don’t think you have to worry abt extending , We are all waiting for our AORs and your OWP is your status extension. I’ll advise you call CIC to make sure your application package is fine.

We submitted our application for December 6th 2018, it was delivered as per Canada Post December 11th, 2018.

We are hoping to get our AOR at least by January!.

I will keep everyone posted.

You don't even need to worry about your visitor visa extension anymore, because the OWP submitted with Inland application gives you status.

Not yet. After the Sept/Oct group was averaging about 3 weeks for AORs, every extra day of waiting seems so long.

App received Nov 13

Application received Nov 12. I forgot to Include police certificate from back home (Checklist says I must submit it with the application). Any idea if they will return application or ask to submit the certificate.ç

They’re not gonna return it. However, CIC will request for it after checking your application.

relax, it’s not gonna be a reason for em to send your package. I know someone that had the same experience before.

We were told (by CIC) that CIC would issue a request for the PCC to us after the AOR, if we didn’t included it in the application package. Apparently, the embassies/consulates of some countries require this separate request before issuing the PCC.
