you can then provide a back up statement of your savings and current account of the last 6 months to back up your letter
I was thinking of doing the same, but the bank is refusing to validate (stamp and sign) the 'shake and save' account statement. Will it be fine if I upload the statement without stamp and sign from the bank (just for the savings account)

You better talk with someone from the the bank, like a branch manager or so if they refuse/don't understand what you're asking for.. they should be able to provide an official stamped statement!
Also, you are obligated to follow the bank rules for how they issue and release their official letters per purpose. That means if they issue "x" number of documents for each purpose (banks statement, account info. , balance certificate, etc..) just pay the charges and collect as per their format. CIC must be aware of the different bank policies in each country.

Dear fellows,

I’m born and lived in UAE throughout. I’ve applied for PCC from Pakistan through a relative and the authorities have informed that they will mention my address “since birth”. Just wanted to check if this is acceptable and there is no contradiction with my place of birth. Thanks

Do you really require a PCC from Pakistan if you haven’t lived there continuously for 6 months at any point in time ?

Does your personalized document checklist mentions the requirement for Pakistani PCC ?

Hi..I created my profile this weekend and expecting ITA in the next draw so just trying to fast track the documentation part. I don’t have a personalized checklist at this stage but there have been multiple trips to Pakistan including some which were 2-3 months long. None for continuous 6 months.

Good day!
I am waiting for my endorsement letter and then the work permit will be processed. I am just making sure I have already all the documents ready.one of the requirements is the police clearance.
I stayed in japan for a year. I am currently in Dubai. Based on the cic website I need first a letter from cic to get a police clearance.
I called the japanese embassy and they told me to just bring passport.
Is it ok to get it ahead without any letter from cic yet? Because it will take 1-2 months.

Hoping for ang response. Thanks

You don’t need a letter from CIC to get a police clearance, just go get it.

ok thank you.
Wait... Please go through the link below:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/japan.html

How to obtain a police certificate – Japan

Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence? No. Citizenship and Immigration Canada will send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your Application for Permanent Residence. You must bring that letter when you apply for a Police Certificate.
