Smh..so says the headmistress. Free forum..free speech. It is important to get both sides of the coin.
Lol..Brutal..Yes Free Forum Free speech.Everyone should know what they are getting into.

When I started thinking about express entry,I knew nothing about Canada except it is covered in snow.I searched and read many websites and articles and everything is not as rosy as we picture it to be.Hooping that it treats us well.

Ladies and gentlemen, please focus on PPR and successful immigration to Canada. Dont send any negative vibes here.

Cheers!
Positivity helps only to some extent.PPR and its timelines might be the main agenda for this thread but there is nothing wrong in knowing about the life after PPR.This thread is almost always dead as September AOR timelines are moving at a snail pace and what is wrong in people having a discussion on Positives and Negatives on moving to Canada?

If you think you are making mistake then withdraw your application and give others the opportunity to migrate. Moving forward, please focus on timelines and updates.

Cheers!
If any one thinks they are making a mistake, they will consult with their peers or subject matter experts regarding their concerns and that is what happening in this thread. If you are not okay with the discussion, move on man.Who gave you the authority to decide on what people should discuss or if we should withdraw our applications or not?

And you can find n number of threads in this forum/google search related to Migration fears to Canada.Migration is one heck of a deal and is a life changing event. For every 10-15 success stories, there would be 1-2 failure stories and those failure stories are more keenly observed because of the fear.

Hi guys, i'm stuck on this since 18 october.

Application step Current status Help
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics Completed.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Almost a month now no moves, i was directly in IP2 since the beginning.
I'm extremely young and have only 1 year work experience and i'm single normally it should be fast, but frankly speaking i don't think they touch our application of september. I'm almost sure nobody saw my application since the medical passed 14october.
It will change to "your application is in progress" soon.

I know what you mean when you say 'unrestricted career growth'. If you are not a PR or citizen in the US getting a good job can be a pain. This one of the reasons I decided on the move. There are several other personal reasons too, but when I keep hearing this difficulty in getting a job due to Canadian experience, it worries me. I have a friend who has a Master's from the UK and another Master's from a University in Canada and he has been looking for a job for almost a year.
What is your friend's field of study/work? In which province is he?

Although still under 3 months only, the number of PPR for Sept AOR is ridiculous so far comparing to previous threads!

I mean, w the same time elapsed in previous months the number of paspport requests were significantly higher than now!

I have called up IRCC yesterday and got the below information:

I am trying to understand does 'BC - Passed' mean both Criminality & Security are completed or only Criminality .. :)

Thanks ..
