Hi all;

My ECAS changed to "decision made" probably yesterday (I didn't check it since this Tuesday), however, I see no additional line added to the details. Anyone in the same situation? If so, how long did it take for you to get you ceremony invitation since the date of "decision made"?

Appreciate any help.

Thanks
It usually takes 2-4 weeks before you hear back with the oath date.

Today is my application anniversary. Still in Process. Should I call today or wait a day and call in on Monday?

If it is the anniversary of when you sent the application, probably wait; if it is the anniversary of the day they received it, then go ahead and call

I don't think you need to worry much about your addresses, when cic says every case is different they mean every agent is different meaning that some are efficient and fast and some are slow and not very smart. Almost everything depends on the agent that's handling your case. I have seen people with more than 10 address changes and many travels to different countries, they already got their citizenship process done months ago, and they had applied in October 2017 like us or even later like in November or December. I had two addresses for the past 10 years and still waiting for the test invite after 12 months and two weeks now. You can send a form or call them and all they do is saying this: "we will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible". You see what I mean my friend? If your case has not been completed after the 12 months period that they said it means it's stock with a slow and inefficient agent just like mine, I don't think there is anything wrong with your application. Good luck.

I had a separate sheet for my addresses in BC, Alberta and Ontario not to mention the long absences to India. Got my Oath date as well for the 15th Nov
thanks for sharing...how long did it take them to send you test invite after IP? just trying to figure out how it impacts in delaying our application if we have lots of addresses

I have called CIC, based on what I was told. I had an impression that the reason for everyone'case moving at a different speed might be also because of the place you stay. If the test or ceremony takes places often in your place, your case might move faster. Otherwise, you just have to wait for a little longer time. Good luck to all of us

It was the anniversary they received so I gave IRCC a call.

I asked the agent whats keeping my application stuck, she said she has no idea. Apparently my background check has been complete for a while, and there doesn't seem to be anything on my file that indicates a reason for the delay.

She gave the standard reply that she'll contact the local office and that I should hear back in maximum 3 months. I chuckled when I heard 3 months and she said there isn't anything she can do about this new timeline.
