OH ... OK .. I didnt know the applications first go to Sydney...

So my AOR is 4th July and yours is 30th June. My MEP is 18th July and yours is 14th July. We are having a difference of 5 days in both the stages. Co-incidence. This means even my application should have also been sent to Local Visa office.

Just tell the truth.

Do you have an official letter from the company with the job description? I think they just want to be sure you aren't lying about your noc code. Your role and duties are supposed to match the noc code not necessarily the job title.

I don't see how they can punish you for being underpaid. Do you have contact infomation for your direct supervisor/hr who can confim the job description and salary? Any coworkers with the same job & pay willing to provide a letter? We're you aware it was below minimum wage? Do you have proof that this was your salary, offer letter, payslips, bank deposits?

Just give as much infomation as you can. Hopefully it won't be an issue for you.

I also submitted my first & last paystubs, record of employment which states salary & tax of each month. I wasn't aware that the wage is lesser than min wage.
This was my first job in Canada. I worked for a year. Now, I got a good job earning 60000CAD/year.
It will be really hard for me if they reject my application for that purpose, as my work permit is already expired. I applied for BOWP with PR application but decision of BOWP entirely depends on PR application.
SO if they reject, I have to go back.

Hey @rdimmi... i had called CIC yesterday and they said the application is still in IP1 (a decision on eligibility has not yet been done but they said it is a "suggested pass". So I am guessing a senior VO will now have to take a decision to pass us the IP1. The VO is Ottawa... BGC not yet started.. Did you happed to call CIC?? any update on your application??

Hi @rejozach, I called them two weeks back but the agent was not at all helpful. Only info I could get was my CIO was Sydney,NS. Eligibility is not recommended pass and they are processing background check (she refused to elaborate what that meant and where I was in terms of security or criminality- How rude right? I know!!!) haven't called them after that. I have no idea whats happening to the application so decided to wait!! I see few people whose case is similar to mine so lets see what happens!!

The frustrating part is my friend had the exact same case as mine, same college, same company and same no. of years of experience. The only difference was his AOR was Dec-2017 and got PPR in exactly 2 months. Luck matters here I think.

Definitely its all luck and prefection in documentation.

The waiting is kinda overwhelming, I would like to avoid logging into my cic account to not see updates and just wait for PPR email

I recieved a message and an email in this regard but what i am upset about that after uploading the requested docs no updates on my status. Its been more than 2 weeks with no updates

It's normal my status never changed after uploading additional documents

It our HR/accounts person who received the call... he stated that he got a call from +1 xxx phone number and asked about myt details such as period working with the company, position, job etc.. I could not guess a better reason to receive a call from North america and enquire abt me.. So i am guessing its IRCC.. On the side note my spouse who is the primary applicant doesn't know if their company received a call.. It depends on the HR i guess.. They called on the phone number posted on the letter head...

I feel same way too. It's a whole lot of emotions logging into one's account and seeing same message everyday. I have resorted to restraining myself from checking...hope it works
