Any march 2017 applicants here? I'm from march 24 and stuck on the background check for about 4 months now. This is ridiculous. Any advice? Thanks.
I'm also March 2017 applicant!!!
After I submitted criminal record check based on finger print in March 2018, i have not heard any news from CIC:(

Did anyone here get a request for fingerprints for the RCMP? If so, when in the process did you get the request? I read somewhere that its common if you've lived in Canada more than 6 months, but I haven't gotten it. Just curious if I might (Sept 26 applicant, meds passed April 27)
I'm not sure it relates to if you have been in Canada a long time. more to do with you have a name that matches the same as someone in a crime database somewhere. But that's just a guess, but my wife has been here 5 years now and was never asked for RCMP fingerprints, and she lands today!

As for when they ask, there was someone here and they got asked for fingerprints in April (a couple of weeks after the med request), they landed a few weeks ago I believe. Think it was @gabrielasqs ?

What do you mean by MP? no red flags at all. The only thing is I didn't apply for OWP since I have a valid work visa until august 2018. Have a feeling they want more money from me and make me apply for owp thru the sposnsorship application.
People kept saying red flags. I don't know what it is. Do you know where I can see if there are red flags?
Thanks.

For our financial support letters we've included bank statements (both joint and individual), pay slips, joint phone bills.
We are also getting our letters notarized along with my partners mothers. We included average pay/what we are being paid and what savings we have. Also getting my partners mother's letter notarized as proof she allows us to live rent-free and helps us to pay for anything we might need if we need help.

We really hope this will be enough, as we can't think of anything else to add/do. What do you think?

Fingers crossed
I think you’re covered now. Specially with the docs being motorized. It will give more veracity.
Keep us posted.

Hey everyone!

New to this forum but have been following it for a bit. I keep seeing something about “load sharing” application with Vancouver from Mississauga. I was curious where this information can be found. Or if there’s an article!

Thanks

Hi everyone!
We just received our landing interview request for July 25 in Vancouver :D!

I have a question regarding travel outside Canada before receiving the PR card. The letter says:
"If you cannot attend this interview and/or have pre-booked travels outside of Canada in the 90 days following your final determination for PR interview, please contact us."

We are set to travel on August 21 out of Canada, would we be able to travel with his country's passport with OWP or will that not be valid anymore? I really don't want to reschedule, wanting to know our options.

Thanks everyone!

@TayWilson @Katerinachi

Congrats! I wonder why a bunch of October applicants are getting AIP so quickly. Do you guys know what office handled it (Mississauga or Vancouver?) Where are you guys living in Canada?
I was wondering if they split the work between two offices based on dates. We saw early sep getting approved and then they jumped to mid october.
That's amazing. I hope they did.. hahahha.. We would all be processed faster.

Congrats @TayWilson and @Katerinachi
