Congratulations to everybody who is having news recently!! I’m less present in this forum because I needed a break, the anxiety was consuming myself and at a certain point I was looking for news here and Facebook group every minute! After I landed I felt so relieved and a normal person again, I could move on my life again!
But it’s always a pleasure to help you guys!

Have a great day!!

I feel you. I'm always checking everything. Sometimes I try taking breaks from here or facebook but I still check ECAS and MYCIC. I know I'll still wait at least 3 months until I get something but, you know.. anxiety, hope, hahahah
I'm pretty sure we all wish we could have a break from this sometimes.. I do!

I'm absolutely sure I'm gonna cry. It's been a roller coaster of emotions.
Enjoy this wonderful feeling.

I wasn’t expecting to receive the landing letter so fast! I’m so emotional that I cried a little bit when I received AIP and after I landed hahaha
IRCC can surprise you sometimes!

And it's ok to take a break from the forum, I think most people drift away once the waiting journey is over. I intend to check in here in the future though obviously wont be on so often. Will try give any advice to people in the same situation as us and help people understand the process as the forum basically saved our lives with advice from many great posters.

I don't think the lack of status itself holds anything up if it's a straight forward case, well clearly not! And I have seen other out of status people earlier this year land in around 11 months here. We have been married a few years now and she has only lived in her home country and here so BGC would of been quick. It was only our own stupidness and a bit of bad luck that got us into a mess, like really she should of been a PR 2-3 years ago, but happy we're about to close the book on that chapter...onwards and upwards!
I'm starting to believe in that too. The law says its ok but not having a status always made me nervous. I think we are a simple case as well, lived only in my home country other than here, I came to canada 3 other times before this last one. Hope they'll be "nice" to me and to our application.

Anyone that experienced flagpoling at Niagara Falls border to lift restrictions from OWP - please reply. I’m aware there are certain days to flagpole which are Tues / Wed / Thurs. It is free of charge to update the OWP for change of conditions. What I’d like to know is there a certain / best time to flagpole at? The Border customs agent said they can service between 8 am to midnight on those days (Tues-Thurs) but people suggest to go at 8 am as it takes about two hours to get the renewed OWP. Please advise.

Just read the rest of the posts and it looks like you got the DM letter. For me the Interview letter came from a different email address that is called "WST-Landing-Enquiries" and the title was "Communication from CIC-Vancouver- Immigration Appointment". It had an interview date and time at the very beginning as well as the address and things to bring with me.
Yeah, it makes sense, I think they typed wrongly the title "Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada - Communication to client/Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada - Communication auprès de la clientèle - CPCM / CTDM - Inland Landing Letter Fxxxx"

I understand your feeling dear!

I was curious as you had a landing letter on July 9th, and they just gave you 1 day to arrange time? (as you landed on July 10th).

Mtl’s office has a new project pilot they now gives you the option to go for the landing from the day of the letter until 6 months later when the CoPr expires.

So I went right the next day! I wanted to go the same day but didn’t have the docs with me haha plus you can go any time from the time they open until they close!

Pretty neat pilot project!

I was looking at the landing letter (a few times lol) and it was dated yesterday but not sent until today....which means we went from nothing to AIP to the landing letter the same day, can't believe the speed of it all!

Hi!
I'm Sept 25, 2017.

Our application was transferred to irregular migration BC as the first office and the secondary office Vancouver Immigration.
I haven't received medical request yet and just wondering if someone is in the same situation.

Thank you!

Also what does it say on your my cic and both sides of ECAS?

If I was you I would contact them ASAP to find out what's going on as you definitely should of had the medical request by now (think September applicants were getting them in April).
