Mate ! I already hv received the NOI n mine is under process ..

what i'm askin as collegue of mine got a job offer( Ontario ) and he also received NOI under HCP . Does his application has more weigh-age due to job offer .. Hope i make sense now
Oh ok. So he got the offer after receiving NOI?

I have read some where that, candidate with offer letter might not be required to show proof of funds.

Not sure if the processing time is faster when compared to other candidates.

Anyone Pro who can answer for me pls ..

Does ONIP gives u more weight-age to ur file if u have job offer from Ontario it self ?? I mean does it work as an extra advantage ??
Conspiracy theorist :D
There nothing imho to prove that only people with an offer get thru there process quickly.
There was a guy called sysadmin141. He is based in Nigeria when he got nominated and does not have a job offer as such..
His application was processed in ive 90 odd days

Chances of OINP selecting you and sending you a NOI are high if you already are working(under certain skill types) and residing in Ontario.
But after you apply and submit your application then I don’t think it has any bearing on faster processing of your application

Need help, I have CRS of 367, and I have reattempted Ielts again as well and waiting for results. My NOC comes under software and applying only got OINP. Is it possible to apply and any chance of getting through PNP ? please update .
First of all, you really need to improve your CRS to get NOI.

And yeah, last year there were people from software industry got invited but this year we did't see this type of trend. Although they were all above 400. so you really need to Improve your CRS.

This year, they are targeting specific group of ppl for NOIs. Either you have job offer from Ontario or French speaking skill, you are in high chances of getting NOIs. Those were invited in first and second quarter of 2018, so we don't know exactly how they will issue remaining NOIs.

for chances of getting through, As long as you are meeting their eligibility criteria, you are good to go for PNP.

Is that confirmed that they wont be taking any software ppl with less CRS score like before ? . I havent read any thread/info from any of the sources.
My question was till the time I reattempt is it ok to keep profile active with these score ? as there might be chance that they might pickup different stream in later stage ?

This year is totally different than 2017. Last year we saw lowest CRS ever and for this reason we have seen ppl got NOIs even with their low score. But now its totally different scenario, this year we have seen record number ppl submitted their profile for EE and for this year only, Ontario would never go below 400.
Moreover, you can keep your profile active while attempting IELTS but once you get your result and its sufficient enough to achieve 400 then I would suggest you to withdraw your old profile and submit it again as OINP often selecting newer profile while issuing NOIs.

Sorry but 367 is not a potential number to get you NOI as per current trend.

Thanks Dude for the response. One more final question. I had work experience in canada during 2014 to 2015 ( one year experience ) . As you said if I will increase my score of ielts ( with CRS of above 400 ) , then under what category I will fall say CEC or FSWP ? . Will I have any advantages that I had work experience over there in canada ? I am not clear with this. Please explain. Thanks !

Ashwin, sorry to jump in to the discussion. What is happening is that there a lot of migration is happening from US to Canada as well. Some of these people are from the famous silicon valley side. That's one of the very many reasons CRS scores are in excess of 440+.

You will qualify for the CEC provided this experience was in NOC 0, A & B skill type and your job was full time. The advantage you will have is that you get extra points over non Canadian experience class... specifically in these parts

- 35 points for 1yr of CEC
- 13 points for Skill transferability points for foreign work experience + 1 year of Canadian work experience(if you have foreign work experience)

You can review the points that you collect for various factors below:
