Hello folks,

Need your guidance and advice as I applied for my wife citizenship and to date still in process.

Wondering when will we get a status to take the test?

If you can answer my question above, then it will be greatly appreciated.

I’m reading November 2017 thread and found out Mississauga applicant has not received invite to test.

Good morning everyone!

I am honored to announce that i am now a Canadian!

The ceremony began at 9 am and finished at 11 am.

At the begining, they checked our papers, take back our RP card and we signed paper for allowing the media to take photos. We also signed a paper saying that we haven't comit any crime in canada.

They also gives us gifts.

Then a judge made an introduction speech and give us the words to the oath. They gave us a certificat, signed a paper and finally we sang the national anthem. Some of us like, like me, took a photo with the judge.

We were 130 people from 34 différents countries!

It was a beautiful ceremony.

Thank you everyone for the support! And Good luck to everyone that are still waiting, it's gonna be your turn!

Congrats New_Citizen !

I had my ceremony this morning as well.

When I checked in, the agent didn't sign the CIT 0039 and put it aside, lol I didn't know what that meant (for reference, you can see my previous posts about my CIT 0039).

Then I signed another document and he handed me the kit (flag, etc)

Then we pledged allegiance, got our certificate, sang O Canada, took pictures

Took around 2 hours

Many congratulation! I can feel your excitement, trust me!

A question to the group, does colour or Oath letter mean anything? Mine is blue, some has white, pink or purple. Just wondering if anyone knows the significance of these colours, and if members during the oath have seen others with letters of different colours or are the colours batch specific?
