This is what mine says.. I don't know what the list below means. Just "it is processing". So all I have to do is wait now? I only waited like 1.5months for now.. Do you have any idea what will be the next steps after Sched A and PC?

Application status We are processing your application.

Review of eligibility Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.
Review of medical results If you need a medical exam, a message with instructions will be sent to you.
Review of additional documents The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check Not applicable.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
Next step for most of us - Background check: In progress

Awesome, congrats!! Yes, as far as I've heard and understand that's all you need to bring along to Service Canada.
Good to know!! Also can use OWP and passport to apply for Ontario driver's license and OHIP?

My wife's visitor visa expires mid-April. We're still waiting for her OWP. I know OWP tends to come in around 4 months according to the spreadsheet, but I'm such a worry wart. I'm a planner and do not like last minute stuff. What I'd like to know if we do not get her OWP before her visitor visa expires, is she able to stay in Canada until OWP arrives? We hardly have any money to fly her home.

Hi my file received by CIC on 21st of June. I gave medical upfront with my applications. Almost 8 months completed but still no decision. I am in Toronto and my application is inland. Howl long will it gonna take more another 3-4 months ?. I got a good job offer from Germany and I want to stay in Germany for two years and I cannot leave Canada now if I leave they say my application will be terminated. Please tell me that this will end before July. I have to start my job on July 1st in Germany. :(
Most probably. It will end before July

She would be on implied status until owp arrives. So no need to worry

Yes don't leave the country before she gets OWP if you are applying inland. Like @Noslord2003 said she has implied status since the OWP is in process - you'll be fine!!

Yes most likely - it's different depending which country you are coming from I believe. Australia and Ontario have good relations with that so we were able to switch my husband's license over shortly after we arrived in Canada, before we had even submitted our application - in fact we use his Canadian license as I.D. for our application... For OHIP you should just need your passport and OWP. I like to take everything along with me when I go to apply for these types of things as you never know what they might ask for. Proof of address in Canada is a big one, so bank statements and credit cards bills/phone bills etc are handy to bring along in case

For me the next step was that my background check changed from 'Not Applicable' to 'We are processing your background check...' - There was no email for that but I just noticed when I logged into my GCKey that it said 'Updated' instead of 'Submitted' for a moment, until I refreshed the page. Other than that it will be a bit of a wait until Med Request I believe... we probably won't hear anything until June/July

i took my wife to service canada yesterday to apply for OHIP. we brought with us her newly issued OWP, passport and other valid IDs. unfortunately they won’t issue OHIP unless she has a full time job. they need a letter from her employer. she’s still looking for a job since we just got the OWP last monday.
