Your profile is good. If you have not applied yet, then PLEASE attend IELTS again. You need to have atleast 6 in each band. All your scores are good. dont let the writing score ruin it.
Well my understanding on this matter is that If you have a offer letter from the university itself ,which is wonderfull thing then there should be no problem in getting the visa, because there is no chance a visa officer will refuse on english abilities and you have good grades,Although better check your major subject grades.
Cheers

Hi Helican,

I did a paper application on Jan 3rd 2018 for study visa. My medical was done upfront and within 1st or 2nd week, it displayed "you passed your medical exams". Presently my background check is still ongoing. Wanted to know what are the vital details is the VO looking at this stage?

Hello,

I applied for study permit in 2014 which was rejected because I had low marks in my high school. At that time I applied for Aircraft Engineering 2-year course. Had 7.0 bands with no band less than 6.0. i didn't apply for caips.

Rejection reason - Other reasons - Your proposed study is not reasonable in light of one or more of Your qualification, previous studies, level of establishment and your future prospects and plans.

After rejection I did the same course in India. Aircraft Engineering 3-year course. Aggregate 75% NO backlog. Graduated in June 2017. Applied again for Sept'17 Intake but this time course was FLIGHT DISPATCHER 2-year course at Seneca college but after 4 months of waiting for visa I got call from Bangalore consulate that since i missed my intake and my course is next available in SEPT'18 so they cannot issue me visa so early so they told me to withdraw my application and apply on a later date.

Current Profile:-

10th CBSE - 6.6 GPA
12th State board science stream - 53% overall (48% P.C.M)
Bachelor's in Aircraft Engineering - 75% No backlog.
IELTS - 7.0 Bands with no band less than 6.5

GIC DONE
Bank balance shown as Fixed deposit of 15 lacs
1- year college fee paid.
2-Year I.T.R shown of mom and dad.

Now i will applying again for sept'18. Can you please guide me? I am just thinking that why is this happening to me? First rejection and withdrawal. What's going wrong?

in this stage they will check if you have been refused visa by any other country. They might also check if you were previously rejected a visa for canada and if you declared it in your application. Most important thing is checking if you have any criminal background.

dont worry. study permit is a time consuming process and can be very frustrating. I have been through this. Most important thing is to keep in mind that you follow all the process. Did you apply for masters or post graduate?ordering caips is important. I know the importance of this because I did exactly what you did. didnt want to wait 30 days for caips. was desperate. thought i could just explain all the reasons from the refusal letter. my agent made it worse. finally got caips and worked on my case. got permit in third application. There are so many who have go study permit in 3rd application..

thanks Helican. If so, I have a good travel history. Been to Uk on a visitor visa 2009( 2wks holiday), did a MSc in Environmental resource management in Dublin 2014-2015(1 year and returned when due), went back for my graduation with my family (also returned before visa expired), no criminal record from my native country and submitted police report from Ireland the country of previous study (stayed more than 6months n no criminal record). This is my 1st application to Canada, intend to do another graduate certificate in project management to boost my career in the environmental field. Thanks I will continue staying positive.

Hello helican! Kindly explain what this GCMS NOTE is saying -

" After careful review of the application and supporting documents provided. Applicant appears to have limited travels which could demonstrate a history of having travelled and returned.
Is being sponsored by third party, Limited evidence of relationship on file and evidence of personal financial establishment is weak.
I am not satisfied that applicant will have sufficient available funds for tuition and upkeep during first year of studies in Canada. Based on the evidence provided I am not satisfied application is a genuine student who intends to complete course of study in Canada and should depart at the end of the authorized stay."

I hope to hear from you

Yes i am following the whole process. I didn't apply for caips after rejection 2014 beacuse I knew that i don't want to re apply with the same profile. and in 2017 i had to withdraw the application so it wasn't a rejection and a caips can't be ordered for that. I am going for a 2-year diploma because Post graduation courses are not available in Aviation.

Thank you so much for your reply. appreciate it. Thanks again.

@Helican Please, after been denied before, If reapplying again and filling the IMM1294 form of the Application for study permit made outside of Canada, do i need to input the previous UCI number or should I leave it blank for a new regeneration of a new UCI number by the visa office??
