Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

Could you tell me how you linked it? I've tried everything but can't link it up yet... I went through the Temporary Residence category then 'Work permit and extension' and used my UCI and Family Name one time and another tried my Family Name and birth date, chose 'Applied for permanent residence as spouse in Canada' and also tried 'Temporary Resident permit holders'... nothing is working... what would be the reason for this??

I did all the same steps you described. I used the UCI and family name option and I left the city I was born in blank. I’ve noticed it would only let me leave that blank on my laptop. I tried from my iPad and it wouldn’t let me leave that field blank. For me, they received my OWP application on Oct 17, 2017 and I just linked it Dec 4 lol and I tried linking it everyday. I’m thinking yours will be able to be linked next week

Updates and questions.

I forgot to pay the 155 dollar fee for my OWP and although I paid for ALL of my PR fees my OWP still got returned yesterday.

I sent it back today to Vegraville. How long do I have to wait before i get my AOR for my OWP.

I was already able to link my application (PR) to my account. What is the next thing that I should be waiting for?

Call the hotline and ask them the exact details on their system. In my case the passport number on their system was the old and expired one. Also the spelling of my place of birth is different from their system.

I'm Aug 17th applicant and I got mine:
Got confirmation on OWP ......................................... November 25th 2017
Got OWP by mail......................................................... December 1st 2017

I know at least 3 other Aug applicants here have OWP as well (Nov 24th).

Am June 14th applicant too, No OWP yet, because I did not have a valid temporary resident permit as at the time I applied for OWP. So they have to wait for AIP, before issuing the OWP. The waiting period is HELL

We´ve received the request for my husbands schedule A form and criminal record check, and CIC asks for one for the current country he lives in if he´s been here more than 6 months, and the country he spent most of his time in after turning 18. He has been in Canada as a visitor now for over a year, does that mean he needs to get one also for here? This might seem like a stupid question but for some reason I thought that they did that check themselves.

I had the same question today (I’ve been in Canada 9 months in total), read all info on CIC (including instructions and FAQs), and it says no; if they decide later that they want it, they’ll send a fingerprint request and a special form.

Thank you. I hope you'll get yours any day now!!! Our application was nothing special, we submitted the police certificates upfront and did everything else like normal. Of course we tried to do the medical as fast as possible.
