Dear Seniors & Applicants,

My wife's OWP & TRV will expire on 30/03/2018. She already received her PNP and PR application AOR.

I already applied my SOWP on 27/05/2017 , 5.5 months finished, till now no update.

So my question is what are the required documents my wife need to apply for BOWP and the right time to apply?

Also can she apply for both BOWP & TRV at the same time ? or TRV only after BOWP get approved?

Online Application or Paper Application is better & safe? She will apply through a lawyer only.

One can apply before 4 months of current status (Work Permit) expiry, means she can apply any time after December 1st.
No idea on TRV, I usually apply later for TRV. It may take around 2-3 weeks for TRV.
Processing time for Online application is less compared to paper application.

I attached the Employment letter and PR-AOR in Letter of Explanation doc (You can attach PNP Letter too).
Application form, Photo and Passport stampings (1st and last page also) should be enough.

Yes, The same document uploaded while submitting documents for Express Entry PR.

Either way you should have submitted Employment document for PR application.
It should be same, as there is no need to specify PNP information. If you specify add PNP document too.

Hello Guys.. i got my owp approval notification in my CIC account today exactly applying after 1 month.. i thought that i would get it as attachment in my cic account but its not there.. although my cic account shows that owp application is approved under final decision section and file is showing as closed.

I am planning to apply for trv so want to know if i would get soft copy of owp in my cic account ?? and how much time will it take to get hard copy..


timelines: PR : 7.5 months and waiting
OWP: applied 17Oct, approved: 17Nov

we don't get soft copy in CIC account.
It takes around 7 days to get the hard copy.

I want to apply for BOWP, it says to attach AOR in application. I have just got AOR email with my file#. Do I just print and scan this email, or there is any other way to attach AOR to this BOWP application. Suggestions will be appreciated.
