How does WES evaluate CA Inter from India?

Hello @dipantika and everyone,

I just received a BIG YELLOW ENVELOPE from ICAI containing my transcripts. So, this envelope is sealed but it does not have stamp and sign on it. ( As WES mentioned on its website)

Can i send this envelope to WES, because the Hyderabad branch is not putting stamp when I requested them. They were like only, Delhi Branch has power to stamp on the outer envelope.

I hope, I can send the envelope as it is completely sealed.

Please help me out.

There will be another envelope in it if you feel it. That is the sealed one(white)

Well, I reckon PE1 is similar to IPCC, correct me if I am wrong.

Now, if you have cleared both the groups of PE1, it will be considered as a one year diploma by WES and this will have a significant advantage on your overall CRS score.

So, go to ICAIexam website, and create an account of for ordering transcripts. You will get all the necessary instructions from ICAI website.

They would take upto 17 days to send you back the transcripts from the date of the receipt.

Founadation > PE1 > CPT these are all entrance tests. Also, you dont get any certificate or degree from ICAI so i dont think its considered.

Does anyone have a format for mark-sheet attestation? There is format on site for transcript but not for attestation.

Well, thing is we did get pass certificates for PE1. It was the same with the erstwhile CA foundation as well; everyone was getting a pass certificate.. Apparently, they haven't been issuing certificates for CPT, but like I said , we definitely received pass certificates for PE1.

Bro , so far as I know WES can only evaluate both groups of CA INTER and not one. I cleared both of them and awaiting their reply for evaluation

There is no format . Address the letter to the secretary and mention in the letter that you need transcript. Send self attested passed exam mark sheet and a draft payable at NEW DELHI

I think buddy not at all sure but generally I have seen people send CA inter atleast. You can still try your luck. All the best

Hi Marty and others,

This is the first time I am posting on this forum.. Does anyone know how WES evaluates CA PE1 certificate from ICAI, India. I cleared CA PE1 way back in 2004 and then left the course due to personal reasons.i shall be very grateful if someone can respond to this.. And by the way, I also completed Bcom hons from DU in 2005. Thanks guys, thank you for making this such a meaningful platform for all the canada aspirants.

Hi, WES will evaluate only PE-II/Inter CA (as PE I is an entrance test.) Your Bcom should be equivalent to a 3/4 year Bcom in Canada

Do we need to get the marksheets attested? or only apply for transcript. BTw, I have passed by CA inter in 1999 (not sure of the equivalent now) ---how is this considered by WES

Yes you need to get the mark sheets attested from the University. I can't say on the equivalency of CA inter cleared in 1999. You will have to wait for WES outcome. I got mine as One year college level certificate.

Yes even I asked to exclude failed attempts. Mine came in about 15 days.

Wanting to know if ICAI sends the transcripts by courier? or Thru postal service?
I am awaiting for the transcripts, i have had issues earlier of mails undelivered which were sent thru couriers.
