My initial biometrics I did for my visa application is still valid till 2030 and I can’t really remember if I had another biometrics done when I was dropping my passport off with IRCC and getting my brown paper and work permit. But if they eventually request for another biometrics, I would definitely put the update here.
Then you most likely won’t need to do them again unless IRCC specifically requests it.

It is a rule protected person must submitted biometrics for pr irrespective of previous biometrics for refugee claim. I do not know why ircc not giving biometrics request along with AOR it will delay the process and nothing

I guess I will my fingers crossed and see what happens next then.

Do you pay biometric fee at the time of application submission ?
From my understanding and online researches, $635 processing fee is all that’s required from protected person for the PR application and that’s all I paid.

This $635 is application fee .you have to pay additional $85 for biometric at the time of application otherwise they not generate BIL

Getting AOR + BIL close together is very common, so you might indeed receive it within 1–2 days or sometimes biometrics are reused if you gave them before.
I got my biometric about 3 months after receiving my AOR.

I didn’t know about that as the firm that handled the application for me didn’t mention any of such to me and I was only told to input my card details just for the processing fee. Do you have any suggestions on how I can go about paying the biometric fee? Or it’s late now??

After receiving your BIL and completing biometrics following your AOR, you are on the right track. You do not need to do anything unless IRCC requests additional information.
