Status changed to “ready for collection/courier” . I dont recall paying for courier but i had purchased premium lounge services. Does that mean they will courier the booklet?

When should I expect any purolator message?

In transit from Consulate to BLS - changed on 13-Jan-2026
(Ready for collection/courier) - changed on 14-Jan-2026 and received a message from purolator that it has been shipped.

If you did not pay for it, you might have to collect it. I am not sure about the premium lounge thing. You can call and check. Collection happens at arnd ~3pm if you want to go for it.

Premium lounge includes courier services as well, as far as I know.

Hi @prachi16. I have the same status. I've applied for my OCI application on Nov 28th 2025 at the BLS Brampton.

• Status on the OCI portal says "OCI card dispatched from the printing cell on 7th Jan 2026".
• Status on the BLS portal says "Processing at Consulate General".

Not sure what could be done. Tried calling BLS but couldn't talk to anyone. When and where did you apply for your OCI?

For us, we applied at Toronto downtown loaction. Walkin + premium lounge services
Application date was 28 November.
- Application submitted : 28 Nov
- Granted : 5th Jan
- OCI issued : 6th jan
- dispatched from the printing cell : 7th Jan

since then we are waiting for BLs tracker to be updated. My BLS tracker says the same thing.

Our daughter's OCI had a same timeline but her's was updated a day later on OCI tracker fr all the statuses and even the BLS tacker was updated for courier details. I feel 7th Jan printing is the only troubled date!!

We are planning to visit Toronto office tomorrow and see if they entertain us between 3-4pm timing. it's their general questions timing.

Thanks, will do. Tried 3 times already and seems they don't want to pick the call. My wife got her OCI much faster once it reached the "printing" stage. Anyways, will see how this goes. Thanks again.
