You received your AOR the same day you submitted your application?Hello Everyone.
Please I am new to this forum and I would like to ask about timelines for H&C approval stage 2 . Did anyone get stage 2 approval recently? Please how long do you think before I get stage 2 approval? It took 18months to get AIP. I want to apply for work permit extension but I am trying to wait till September, 2025. Maybe I might get lucky and get approved before my PGWP expires in October, 2025
I am currently on a PGWP that will expire in October 2025. I applied for H&C as the principal applicant with my 2 minor dependent.
My timeline is below

Biometrics-December 14, 2023
All Supporting documents was submitted with application.

Have you completed your medical exam yet? As far as I know, you have 30 days to do it after receiving your AIP. Since you’ve already received your AIP, you should now be eligible to apply for a new Open Work Permit based on your H&C approval. Just curious—what timeline was shown when you submitted your application? I applied in August 2024, and mine showed 20 months. I’m still waiting for my AIP.Hello Everyone.

No, I haven’t received any medical request. My lawyer said if one is needed from me they will request for it. Note, I have been inside Canada without travelling out of the country since 2020, so I might be exempted from medical.Have you completed your medical exam yet? You have to go by the current time line, which is 23 months. You dont go by what it was when you submitted it.Have you completed your medical exam yet? ...no. However, the pilfering centre will prioritize applications based on urgency and severity. Best interet of child and family violence will tend to have applications processed faster as opposed to those just not able to meet any other immigration stream.Another question for the thread, is there any way to speed up the application? For example at least AOP? I know that the best way is have complete application and have everything in order, but maybe there is some other ways that people tried? Thanks : )
