Keep in mind i did try my luck and requested for my PR card processing to be expedited once i received my ecopr since i need to travel in april. Not sure if that played into them processing my card faster but i’m so glad that this is all over. I wish everyone the best!!!

For sure! I did compile everything into a single file i submitted them on the IRCC webform and got a speedy response from them. Try it out, good luck!!

what is the timeline of your friend please? when did he got his ECOPR and then the PR card? thanks!!

He got COPR in OCt 2022 & PR card in Dec 2022. Another friend got his COPR on Dec 10 & PR card in Dec, so I guess it's different for everyone. No idea how they are picking files on what priority bases.
Few posts I've seen earlier that they waited for 6 months for the same. IRCC doesn't provide any accurate information on processing, or mailing details.

Hi,

I just got my PR card approved. I linked my PR card application to the Gckey account - Is the document number shown on the gckey application the same as the PR card number?

I am trying to apply for a visa to another country for official purposes, and I am trying to figure out if I can complete the visa application with the document number given in gckey as my PR number. I just don't want to waste more time waiting for the card as the travel date is nearing. if anybody knows, please let me know.

FYI the GU we received on Feb 6th was for myself and my spouse's cards. I received an email to re-upload my daughter's photo.

Then on the 11th received emails for myself and my spouse's accounts had been updated and both now say cards shipped. Assume that the first GU was photo acceptance and move cards to production as we haven't received anything further on my daughter's account as we had to resubmit her photo.

Oh okay thanks! How about if you already confirmed that you are in Canada and waiting for ECOPR but took too long and you already need to travel abroad. Is it still legal?

yes it is legal, as long as somebody will send you the PR card to you, so you can travel back or get PRTD
